    overwhelming selection

    Like everyone else said, Pleasant Street Video has just about every genre of videos you could imagine. They have some of the new releases, but the beauty of their collection are the tons and tons of independent films, cult classics, foreign films, and basically anything non-mainstream. We are so lucky to have a place like this.

    Pleasant Street Video truly has an excellent collection of movies - on DVD and on video. Pleasant Street Video has anime, foreign, romantic comedy, classics, hit movies, etc. I have found movies here that I couldn't find in Blockbusters, Walmart, Target, Barnes and Nobles, and Best Buy stores. The membership is a good price and you get a free movie on your birthday! Their hours are convenient as well.

    Playing host to a wide variety of Independent films,one can find a slew of rentals that wouldn't otherwisebe available at larger chain stores. Pleasant organizesyour movie choosing experience by new releases of course, but takes it a step further by organizing the rest of their stock's genre by director or country of origin. In this store the selection, organization and presentation makes film feel like a movement generated by the power of local enclaves. Kind of refreshing. Don't forget to check out the basement where 2/3 of the collection hides.
