I have recently used simple movers to load my penske truck from Denver Colorado to Buffalo New York the movers they sent were extremely helpful and knew what they were doing. I was asked to put this review so here it is....

Very accommodating service. I called two days prior to my move day and simple movers were able to send 3 movers to load my rental truck. I was very happy with Simple movers and will recommend them to friends and family.

Where the heck did the people that wrote something good get their service, in KY they broke 2 pieces of furniture out of 2 tries before I ran them off, plus gouged a wall with both. Incredibly horrible people to work with. I think these 3 guys were holding "will work for food" signs yesterday. Not good for much else--give them their signs back--worthless.

Mixed Feelings

Our stuff got where it was going, but the packing was the worst of it. While they got all our stuff on the truck, they weren't the best. I was told they would arrive between 10-11 am and they showed up at 9am. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but we have a 2 year old and a 10 month old, and my husband needed to get the rental truck weighed prior to filling it, so the schedule we had in place was ruined by them showing up earlier than scheduled and they didn't call before hand. Once my husband got the truck back, things went a little better. They moved our packed boxes, then the heavy furniture. The next problem arose when I found out that they had been throwing things in boxes that I had set aside and told them we were keeping out for our trip, and taped up the boxes and threw them on the truck. We had no clue which boxes they ended up in. I had to go out and buy my 10 month old more binkies because they had thrown those in the boxes, when I already own 10 of them. They also took my digital camera, and threw it in, and I still haven't found it anywhere. These were supposed to be professional movers, and I was paying the higher price for them. They showed up with no tools except for a hand truck, but other than that, they didn't even have a screw driver or anything. Luckily we had everything toolwise that we required.
When we got to El Paso, I received a call the day before I was supposed to be getting helpers to come unload our truck, stating that they needed my credit card information. When I called back, I was told that after 3pm they couldn't book anything. I was under the impression that when I had initially booked services that it was all set. It would have been nice to know that the help on the other end wasn't booked. The lady with whom I spoke told me she would call around and find out if maybe there was a chance of getting someone next day, and then call back. I never received a call back, so I had assumed that no one was available. The next morning at 9am, two helpers showed up. This time the experience was very good. They were helpful, they communicated with us well, and put everything where we wanted it, and were done well before the 3 hour mark. I was pleased with the service on this end at least. The first part was pretty bad, and I'm still upset about some of my missing items, since my camera is something I use a lot with two growing little girls.
