    Very Good

Great bargain, wide selection, gets the job done

For the price of $6.50(dinner), Top China Buffet is a good bargain. There was a wide selection of foods which consisted of fried-battered-sauced dishes, to stir-fried veggies w/ and w/out meat, a few soups, shu-mai, salad, Peking ribs, American food(wings, onion rings, fries), shrimp(crispy fried and salted, boiled/steamed, seafood, etc... The only part that I particularly was disappointed by was that the steamed/white rice was sitting out in a buffet tray with no cover, that is blasphemous, as the rice was not as steamy and fluffy as i'd prefer. And being that I am Asian, I want my steamed rice perfect. I would recommend this place if you are looking for good food and a variety at a bargain. I usually don't mess around with buffet places when I am craving Asian food, but this is Columbia SC where Asian food is scarce, so I had to resort to it. Would I repeat? Yes I would.

Great buffet! One of the best around!

When we lived in Columbia we used to go to this place all the time. At that time, there weren't many buffets that would have the shrimp and seafood on the buffet. This place spices the food just right; the kids like it, as well as, the adults. The atmosphere is relaxed and we always had a great time. The kids would always be ready for a nap after eating here and then a trip to the park!

    Top China Buffet

I love this buffet. The price is very reasonable and they offer crab, shrimp, chicken, vegetables, several varieties of rice and noodles, but most importantly dim sum. It is fairly impossible to find good dim sum on a buffet in the South. This is great. Most days they also offer kim chee for korean food lovers. They also have more American fare of pork fried rice, chicken wings, and egg rolls. Excellent hot and fresh food.
