Good Chinese
Posted by fundoodman on 07/26/2008
We've always found this place fun, food and service has always been good. It can even be a decent place for a date if you get a booth. Been there many many times and it's always good. Prices may be a little more expensive than some other chinese restaurants but the atmosphere makes it worth it. Not good for young kids. It's the type of place where you can order something different every time and it's always good. Like most Maple Grove places it's very busy on the weekends.

Great price for food and environment
Posted by sanuginz on 10/24/2007
The only national franchise restaurant I enjoy besides Olive Garden. I'm very big on environment and value. Dark lit atmosphere, doesn't feel like people are listening in on you talk, and great food. My favorite thing on the menu is the tender lemon scallops on gourmet rice with asian citrus hot tea served in a cast iron kettle. All for under $20, tasty and filling.

Great atomsphere, mediocre food
Posted by dnepsund on 08/29/2007
We eat at a lot of Asian resturants in general and are always excited about an opportunity to try new spots, and hearing a lot of great things about P.F. Changs I was very excited to try it. The atmosphere is very contemporary and trendy, in keeping with most of the Arbor Lakes businesses The wait-staff was very friendly and made sure they had our order right. Once we had the food I was disapointed though. I like a lot of spice and that was great, but our food was definitley overly salted and the texture wasn't there, ie dry meat, tough noodles, and everything tasted of vinegar. To sum it up, I would go there if I had a friend whom was big on aesthetics but didn't know anything about ethnic cooking, but for my own asian comfort food cravings, I think I'll stick to the little local owned holes in the wall like China Dragon.

Fun, Clean and reasonably priced.

PF Chang really stands out of the crowd of Chinese restaurants. Place large, clean, and contemporary decorated. Menu is short, but very tasty and original, and is good for meal sharing. Famous letuce wraps are a must have!
Service level differs from time to time, but never too bad.

Horrible experiences!!!
Posted by misrose1986 on 09/05/2006
Sure, the food is OK and somewhat reasonable as far as pricing goes, but the last two times that I have gone there I have had a horrible experience. Each time I have been charged a different amount than what was on my bill. For example, the last time I was there, my bill was $7.00 and few weeks later, I found out that I was charged $27.65. The time before, they mixed up the tickets and I was charged for my friends meal and she was charged for mine. Both times I have called and have not been impressed with the way they handle the situation. I don't know if they just don't train their waitresses or if they are just incapable of doing their jobs; however, I will probably never go back.

Great Place

The food here is wonderful and inexpensive. The wait staff is excellent and the decor is exciting.
The menu here is extensive and honestly seems to have an eye toward healthy eating.
The noise level can be high if the restaurant is full.
