In 1997 Steve sells Barbiere's to now 24-year veteran Mark Dempsey. Mark's goal is to uphold Barbiere's great name and reputation, which Sal started, and Steve continued for many years to come. Our favorite compliment is that nothing has changed through the years. In 1973 Barbiere's moves from 106th & Bluemound to its current location 59th & Bluemound. Sal becomes partners with his son Steve and then hires 15-year-old Mark Dempsey as a pizza maker.In 1975, Dempsey graduates from h igh school and maintain the highest possible quality service.
