    Horrible about cancellation and cancellation of classes

    I have also had issues with my membership cancellation. I signed a 1 year contract and was told that at the end of said year I would have to sign a renewal to continue my membership. I even had a letter from the employee stating that it would not be automatically renewed. 4 months after it ended, I am still being charged because they said it was auto renewed. I don't even live in Tucson anymore, and after talking to corporate they stated that it didn't matter if I had a letter from the employee (which I sent to them) that since it was an auto renewal I had to give a 60day notice and pay to end the contract. On top of that they had cancelled all water classes without giving the option of leaving the fitness center-this was the reason I joined Desert Fitness specifically, yet was not told this was going to happen and when it did it was the attitude of "too bad" your stuck

    Bad cancellation policy at the Gym

    I signed up for this gym in August 2007. When I signed up there was a possibility that I would be moving to another town, so I specifically asked about their cancellation policy. No one told me about their 25% fee they assess even if you move more than 100 miles away. Now I have to pay $109 just to cancel my policy. If this is the way that they treat their customers, I will make sure that if I move back to Tucson, I will never use their facilities.
