Love this salon. I have never once had a bad experience. The people are great, the beds are fabulous, the hours fit my schedule. I would never go anywhere else.

The Best Salon In The Area By Far

    Posted by maria88 on 04/26/2007

I have tanned here for four years and have never visited a salon with such high standards. The staff is well educated and very friendly. It is immaculately clean on every visit. The equipment is well maintained and new and I always get way darker than any other salon I have ever visited in a fraction of the time! I only pay $24.95 to tan all month long in brand new beds with facial bulbs. I absolutely love going here at the end of a long workday and taking time for me. I have recommended this place to all of my friends and they have never been disappointed.

    Good

    Worst salon in the metro

    Posted by esovde on 02/25/2007

This salon has an okay look to it, but is extremely low scale for it's prices. The staff is very pushy and rude, and clearly works on commission. Forget about trying to get away to relax and tan for a bit, if you don't buy what they are trying to sell ($100 lotions!), you will be treated like dirt. Also, the owners are always sitting behind the desk, glaring at customers, and do not look tan themselves. Why would you tan in a salon the owners aren't even willing to use?! The salon is highly understaffed, so waiting in line for 15-20 minutes is very common. The majority of their beds are old basic beds. The last time I went, there were ants flying around the salon and ants all over the floors. I would never recommend this place, Golden Tan, Boss Tanning, and Planet Beach are much better salons! Don't waste your money on this place. Also, and most important, they NEVER CHANGE THEIR BULBS!!!

    Best Tanning Around

I think this salon has it all. I always get great color from the beds unlike some other salons in the area. The prices are comparable to other salons with similar equipment, but if you get one of the monthly specials they are much cheaper. The salon is always extremely clean and the atmospher is very upscale and spa-like. I have always found the staff to be very friendly. This salon is very busy, so you may need to call ahead for the high end beds. Overall, this is the nicest salon I have ever been to...I would never tan anywhere else!

    Very Good

Good beds, but not for the price

Personnel is one of the worst I've experienced tanning in the Twin Cities, mostly concerned with upselling, but higher end beds are really good for a quick browning.

    Clearly #1 priority is commission

I had a terrible experience in service at this salon. At my first time visit the woman working refused to listen to any of my needs, took up 20 minutes of my time with her sales pitch that I stated I didn't need to hear, demanded that I buy a bottle of tanning lotion from her that I didn't want (she made me tell her what kind I have) and then only offered me the option to buy a bed that I had stated I didn't want (high voltage). After spending $22 on one session, getting burned, and being treat like an imbecile, I was horrified that such an easy and normally pleasant activity turned so negative. Unless you have time for this, I'd recommend just tanning at Lifetime Fitness across the street.
