Owner and staff are RUDE and DISHONEST and MEAT IS BAD
Posted by JZ1 on 08/04/2009
I wrote about a horrible experience I had at this restaurant on Google and the owner dishonestly posed as a patron to put me down. To stoop to this level of trickery shows they are really desperate and incredibly STUPID people. Here is a copy of that review for a good laugh:
Subject: Refused to replace BAD MEAT - JZ
EDIT: Owner is posing as a patron in his reviews
Howie.d, it's interesting that you are commenting on things that you could know nothing about by reading my reivew. You mentioned that I am Indian and the person I was there with was Indian, neither of which I mentioned in my review. You also made a comment about me not owning up to my review when I came back to the restaurant, how would you have known what happened between me and the owner? Additionally, you said "be a man", how did you know I'm a man and not a woman, I made no reference to my gender in the review. Hmm, how could you assume all these things if you were not the owner or acting on their behalf?... You just threw this restaurants credibility out the door and turned yourself into a biggoted, unethical, dishonest and let's a not very smart business owner, by asking me things you would not have known as a REAL patron.
Response to my review from a mystery person:
RE: Bad Meat -- not? - Howie.d? - Feb 19, 2009
To the person (JZ) that complained about Erawan Thai. I have eaten at this restaurant many times and found the meat to always be fresh and the dishes tasty. I suspect your nose may be unaccustomed to the fish sauce which is typically used in some of the dishes. If the owner asked if you posted a derogatory review, then admit it. Be a man. Reading your review, I suspect you are the type of person that is very demanding and imagines yourself to have sophisticated tastes, but doesnt know the difference between curry and cumin. I notice that you and one other indian are the only people to ever complain about this place. Just a coincidence?

Hard to find good Thai, but we love this place it's our favorite local Thai place! Nice for take-out or dine-in, they have a nicely decorated place.

This restaurant is so good, and they only use organic veggies. I eat here about once a week and have never tried anything I don't like. The owner/waitress is so sweet! Definitely a must try!!!

Disappointing
Posted by pamalade on 09/20/2008
Since we eat mostly organic and have heard of another organic Thai resto opened in Roswell, we decided to give it a try last night. We ordered Larb Chicken salad to share, which was too salty and not enough heat even with three peppers. The cabbage that came with it had bitter after taste and so did the broccoli in my Drunken Noodle. My husband had Pad Thai that was brand. The service was friendly, but unattentive and difficult to understand the accent. And finally, on the way home, our throats were very dry as if we had MSG, however, menu said NO MSG. It was disappointing, but now we know!

This is the best Thai food in Atlanta! Finally found a place that serves organic vegetarian Thai food! There service is superb, as is the food. I always get basil rolls, organic green salad with peanut dressing, and vegetable/tofu Masaman Curry - YUMMY!
(Location is not obvious - across the street from Blockbuster and Tijuana Joe's on Roswell Road just south of Northridge.)

Thai Food

This was my first introduction to Thai food and I was happy with the restaurant. I have both eaten in and had take out and the food was equally good each time. Their soups are very good and so are the appetizers. If you request it, they can adjust the level of spiciness in any of the dishes to your liking. For those less adventurous, there are more traditional items such as fried rice, chicken with broccoli, and spring rolls. They offer lunch specials at a very reasonable price.
