Although I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, I have spent my adult life traveling around the country, pursuing some of the most advanced plastic and cosmetic surgery training possible. As a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, I always encourage my patients to adopt healthy lifestyles because people who take care of themselves before and after surgery maximize the impact and longevity of their results. Although plastic surgery can produce dramatic physical improvements, in reality there is no "quick fix" to remaining fit and attractive. It is a life-long process that involves good choices with regards to exercise, diet, proper skin care, and stress reduction.
