Situated in a quiet neighborhood of beautifully restored historic homes, this beautiful Federal inn is nestled just steps from the historic birthplace of Thomas A. Edison. What has become Angel Welcome Bed and Breakfast was the Hamilton-Stoddard House, one of the first six homes in Milan, constructed in 1828 by Daniel Hamilton, one of the leading citizens of Milan. Daniel Hamilton had what is now the Key Bank Building built adjacent to the property for his general store, where he initiated the trading on the Milan Canal.In 2001, Angel Welcome Bed and Breakfast was opened as a lodging alternative to hotels in Milan, and offers three elegantly appointed guest rooms, each with a private bathroom.Your InnkeepersAngel Welcome Bed & Breakfast is owned and cared for by Judy & Bernie Pleunik.Judy has always been in the business world. A selfless, self-motivated individual, she started and owned many businesses throughout her life. It was in 2001 that a life change occurred, and Judy purchased the Hamilton-Stoddard House in Historic Milan, opening the town’s first Bed and Breakfast. In 2008, she and now-husband, Bernie, married.
