I recently finished working on an insurance claim and chose Auto Appraise to represent me. Long story short, my husband and I purchased his dream car, a 1968 Chrysler 300 in February 2009. In May 2009, after spending the previous months restoring the car, it was hit by a 94 year old man whose insurance company, after much fighting from our end, decided to total the vehicle. Aside from dealing with the heartbreak, we now how to deal with the fact that the insurance company was also trying to lowball us on the value of the car and leave us with a loan balance. In the beginning, the insurance company tried to state the car was worth only $4200 (we had originally purchased the vehicle for $7200 and spent an additional $5000 working to bring the engine and electrical into into tip top shape). Now, before even purchasing the car, we had done our research and knew that the car, after our improvements, would be worth $13,000. When I came to Auto Appraise, I had been fighting Allstate for 3 months on my own. After requesting a new appraisal from them, the value was still coming up short. Our next step was to purchase an appraisal of our own. With my husband out of work and an additional car payment to deal with (at this point Allstate was no longer paying for a rental and we had to purchase a new car), I was reluctant to risk spending more time and money trying to fight Allstate for what I knew was the fair value of our car. After speaking with local appraiser who "guaranteed" me he could get me whatever I wanted from the insurance company but refused to answer questions, explain the process or provide referrals, I was distraught (it is SO hard to find classic car appraisers!). I stumbled across Auto Appraise and decided to call them even though they weren't local. Initially I spoke with Autumn Duehring. She was unbelievably helpful and friendly and spent over an hour talking to me about my car, my situation and my options. Nearly in tears with relief by the end of the call and completely dumbfounded I had gotten lucky enough to find her, I chose to hire Auto Appraise at that moment to help me in my claim. Throughout the process, Autumn was a friend who supported me and gave me confidence to keep fighting the insurance company. She always returned calls and emails, answered questions, gave me legal advice and offered encouragement while I struggled to remain patient and calm through a process that is stressful and unfamiliar. In the end, even after the additional interest I paid on our car loan and the fee I paid to Auto Appraise for their services, I only lost $20 throughout this whole ordeal. An amazing outcome considering I faced losing over $3500 had I not found Autumn. Jason, the owner, who appraised my car is also incredibly friendly and helpful. His resume and experience is astonishing. Our car is rare and hard to place value on (especially considering the low mileage and near factory condition) but Jason and his team went above and beyond and provided an incredibly well researched and comprehensive appraisal along with nearly 60 pictures of the vehicle. No words can describe how happy and appreciative I am of Autumn and everyone at Auto Appraise. It's rare these days that you find people, let alone a company, who are who they say they are and do what they say they are going to do. If you are looking for a team you can trust, regardless of your reason for needing an appraisal, these are the only guys you need. Thank you again Autumn. I couldn't have made it through this without you.

Prepurchase Car Inspection

Jason and his office staff of Autumn and Debbie allowed me to purchase a vehicle with confidence after reviewing the Inpection Report, Photos (over 200), Videos and numerous telephone conversations. Upon seeing and driving the car for the first time after delivery, I was estatic with its conditon and wear a big smile every time I get behind the wheel. This is all because of Auto Appraise; I was able to make the right decision and go ahead and purchace the car. I was treated with professionalism as they went beyond the call of duty and provided assistance with transporters and even aid in writing a sales contract. What I especially liked was the under vehicle inspection.
I highly recommend Auto Apprise for vehicle presale inspection and would, without a doubt, call on them again when the need arises.

After my 2005 Prius was totaled by another driver, the insurance company offered an absurdly low settlement. I countered with a more reasonble figure, but they demanded that we get appraisals. Auto Appraise was easy to work with and they were friendly, efficient and professional. The whole process went very quickly and I ended up getting much more than my original counter offer.

True story:
My car caught on fire a few months back. My insurance company deemed it a total loss and offered me LESS THAN HALF of the Kelley Blue Book value. So I was faced with the task of finding an auto appraiser to deal with these leeches. Luckily, I came across the wonderful people at Auto Appraise. Autumn went to bat for me and dealt with the ineptitude of my insurance company like no other. I received a six page report, along with the 30 photos they took. The appraised stated value was not only fair and closer to the KBB value--but it was based on actually going to look at the vehicle, assessing the condition, as well as an in depth local market analysis...all of which my insurance company failed to do in conjuring up their initial insulting settlement sum. Let's face it, insurance companies do not care about you or what trauma and tragedies you endure and pay them to tend to...they only care about the bottom line and getting you off their backs and quickly and cheaply as possible. Period.
I must admit, I was a bit weary of getting my own appraiser to deal with my insurance company. While this process did test my patience, I am ecstatic that I chose Auto Appraise to settle my case. Autumn and Jason have been more than helpful in dealing with my insurance company and their miss-communications, stalling, half-a$$ed appraises, and overall unprofessional run-around. I cannot overstate how much easier the folks at Auto Appraise have made my life in these past few months.
I highly recommend Auto Appraise. I will be passing their information on to several vintage car collector friends, should they ever need a fair and just appraisal, as should you.

My wife wrecked her car and although we had full coverage insurance the insurance company only offered us a little more then half what I believed the car was worth and they would not budge. That’s when I called Auto Appraisers and talked with Autumn Duehring. She was very professional, nice, and explained my rights and how everything would work. That was really nice to have at an already stressful time. I am so glad I used them because they handled everything from start to finish, they did a great job, and kept me up to date on what was going on. They even got me almost twice what the insurance company had offered (that was more then I expected). Needless to say I am very happy with the company and Autumn. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an honest appraisal from a professional company. Thanks for everything!!!!

I was/am new at trying to find a 'muscle car" for myself.I had been looking on the internet for a few months, finding cars all over the country.Well, when I finally found a car I liked....it was in Miami,over a thousand miles away! To far for me or any of my friends to check out.A guy at a car show, refered me to Auto Appraise.Jason and his staff were Wonderfull!!! There help actually saved me from buying a car I would have had to spend a lot of money to get it to the "fully restored" point that the seller said it was.They sent me over 300 pictures and an extensive report on the car! Jason and I also had a lengthy conversation about the car and what to look for.Just a Great and Trustworth person.My search continues!!! And when I find that "perfect car" Jason will be the first person I call!!

Awesome People To Do Business With

I had Jason and his associates do a inspection this past week for me in Arkansas . My decision was easy to use them due to I had used them two years ago to inspect a car that I purchased based upon the facts I recieved in the inspection. Just like the past inspection communication was excellent from not only the staff but Jason himself. Both inspections were so well documented i could have made the decision without looking at the over 130 photo's they took of each car. I had a custom vehicle that is one of a kind and needed to get it appraised to get a business loan on it. They were grat to work with! Phone calls were always answered and questions attended to. Although this vehicle was difficult to appraise, they were able to get it done for me. Thanks again guys!

Terrible customer service

I read the previous reviews, and knew how wonderful the service that everyone was saying, so I decided to give them a call. A woman picked up the phone and wasn't very friendly. After I explained what happened to my car and I'd like to get an appraiser and know more about their service, and then she goes "alright, so how can I help you? What do you want to know?"..... So I decided to try another company.
I'm sure they are great, but the customer service ruined it from the beginning....

It was the best decision I made to use Auto Appraise for the van I donated to a senior citizen organization. My initial contact with Autumn was friendly and most informative. But, it was my conversation with Jason Phillips which ultimately convinced me to have use them for this job. The final appraisal was detailed and done within 10 days which also included the IRS form. Many thanks.
