Terribe service and prices - would not recommend to anyone

I dropped off 2 pairs of pants and was told they'd be ready in 10 days at $12/pair. The price seemed okay (slightly high) but 10 days is a LONG time to hem 2 pairs of pants. Nonetheless, I left them. Called 10 days later (Tuesday) - pants weren't ready. They promised me they'd be ready the next afternoon (Wed) and would call. When they didn't call Wed, I called Thurs because I needed the pants for a weekend trip. She said they'd be done by 4:30 and I could pick them up Thurs evening. Thursday evening, I went to the shop, but they weren't done. The owner apologized, said she'd give me a discount and promised to have them next week (which didn't do me much good for the weekend trip). I picked them up the following Tuesday - a full 18 days after dropping them off - and not only did she not give me a discount, but she charged me $14.50 a pair and claimed that was the price she'd quoted over the phone (it wasn't). In addition to that, both pairs of pants were dusty and stuffed into a small bag without any care taken to fold them or hang them (what a novel concept!). I ended up paying an extra $6 to have both pairs dry cleaned, since they were not in wearable condition when I picked them up. So the $24 I expected to spend - which was already too high AND should have been discounted due to the multiple delays - turned into $35. Furthermore, the stitching on one pair was poorly done, with threads hanging out. I will never go back and would not recommend Barbie's to anyone.
