The Best Tanning Experience i ever had

Its just a great place to go get a tan,salt water fish tank,a lammed Bird from the amazon,big LCD TV,cool art deco.,all equipment is new with bulbs changed often,plenty parking and the best owner in the world "Julie" always greets you by your first name !!Ive been going here for over 8 years...wouldn't go anywhere else 5 stars not enough

Awesome tanning place-very friendly people! All questions answered and everything quite informative. Good prices too!! ALSO LOVED the interior design it felt so welcoming and comfortable. Try it out!!

RECENTLY I HAVE BEING TRYING OUT NEW TANNING SALONS AND THIS ONE DEF. CAUGHT MY EYE! FROM ITS BRIGHT COLORS, TO ITS ADORABLE FRIENDLY BIRD THIS HAD TO BE THE BEST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!! ALSO THE EMPLOYEES SERVE YOU WITH THE WARMEST SMILES AND SHOW GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, EDUCATING YOU ON HOW TO BE SAFE IN THE SUN, TO TAKING THE TIME TO SHOW YOU ALL THE DIFFERENT BEDS...I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON AND IF I COULD GIVE IT 10 STARS I WOULD :)

I have tanned in their up to date tanning beds and I have used the Mystic Tan. I love the beds because this big fan goes on automatically and stays on high so you don't sweat to death. Love the simple to use sound system and they have this great little pillow for your head. It has a groove in it. If you turn it around so the groove faces away from the inside of the bed, you head sits in it comfortably while holding your head up so you don't get those silly white lines around your neck! The Mystic Tan was awesome.....so simple to use. Suzanne (she works there) took me into the room and explained how to use it so I felt comfortable with everything. Just took a minute and I was out in a flash! I've tanned in other salons with the Mystic tan and they give you little towels or paper towels to wipe off, leaving drip marks. At MCS they have this really big towel to dry off with. Oh, and all the amenities are there too, from Qtips to whatever... with a big mirror and a super clean bathroom!

Pros: They have so many beds that you never have to wait!!!!

Tanning in Style

I have been going to Media City Sun since I was in High School. I have to admit, that I have tried EVERY other salon in Burbank and it has always landed me right back to where I started. The staff is friendly and trendy, while the salon itself is clean, very well maintained and always has that in the middle of Tahiti smell. Prices are fair, parking is a bit challenging, but over all this is the greatest salon I have ever been too. Great place to go for a 20min vacation and you will always come out looking better than when you went in..where else can you get that kind of satisfaction?

I have been a member of Media City Sun in Burbank for years and have found that over that time this salon is the cleanest I have ever been in (and I've been in alot). Constant deals and discounts keep customers coming, new beds, spray equipment etc. make this salon cutting edge all the time.
There is one problem that I have with the salon and that is the staff. One expects when they walk into a business they will be greeted with a hello. The staff at this salon not only never say hello but don't even respond when clients say hello instead they simply ask what your last name is so they can look you up in their system. This tants my experience at the salon, it shouldn't be too much to give a kind response to customers. It makes the paying customer feel rushed and that they are intruding on the employees time.
Other than this greeting downfall, the salon is great, its clean, updated equipment, and great pricing.

This is my favorite place to tan in Burbank! Great location. Lots of beds & lotions. VERY clean, friendly & helpful staff. They even have spray tanning. I dont go anywhere else anymore.

the place is beautiful. it's very nicely decorated and it has a great vibe to it- but, tooooo bad for the HORRIBLE service. the biggest reason i DO NOT want to step foot in this place is because the girls at the counter here (always different girls too) have the worst attitudes and customer service imaginable. you being there or not doesn't matter to them. they act like you're not there. they don't even greet you with a smile, or say hello. the second you walk in they say "what do u want" tell you the price, and then without looking you in the eyes tell you which room to go to. they look you up and down the second you walk in, to the second you walk out- oh nevermind, when i was leaving one of the girls was sprawled out in the room sleeping in clear view. HORRIBLEEEEEEEEEE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

like the place

I really like the ambience of this place. I like the fact that their are private rooms and the staff are able to assist in any way possible. Most of the time that I go there I have an appointment but there have been like a few times where I was just in the niegborhood and they were able to take me. I also like the fact that if I forget my lotion I can purchase it there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and they have a great location
