    JUDGE FOR YOURSELF- GO TRY

    Posted by DRHARGROVE7788 on 07/31/2009

THE BEST PIZZA I EVER HAD. I HAVE TASTED PIZZA ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES AND THIS IS NUMBER 1 . THE OWNERS ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE JOB PERFECTION OF FOOD IS THE GOAL AND WITH THAT COMES LITTLE TOLERENCE FOR PEOPLE THAT WANT FREE FOOD FOR HAVING TO WAIT FOR HOMEMADE FOOD THAT COOKS SLOW BUT COMES OUT TO PERFECTION. I HAVE OWNED RESTAURANTS BEFORE AND UNTIL YOU ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTER CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE SHY TO JUDGE SO RAPIDLY. I HAVE READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND I GUARANTEE YOU THESE ARE ITHER COMPETITORS THAT ARE JEALOUS OR CUSTOMERS THAT THINK THAT THERE FITS OF ANGER WILL GET THE SOMETHING FREE. IN THE CASE WHERE THE MANS WIFE ORDERED HE SHOULD HONOR HER ORDER..... IN THE CASE OF THE 2 YR OLD BOY WITH THE FATHER, HE SHOULD NOT WANT TO TAKE FOOD FOR FREE. GET REAL PEOPLE ..... GOOD FOOD... EQUAL GOOD FOOD.... THESE PEOPLE REALLY DO NOT DESERVE TO EAT AT THIS PLACE THEY QUALIFY FOR PIZZA HUT OR DOMINOES.... GIVE THEM A CHANCE GO TRY THE FOOD,. EVERYONE I SEE LEAVE THANKS MR AND MRS. FUZZY FOR THE FOOD AND TELLS THEM IT WAS DELICIOUS...

    Good food/extremely bad service.

    Posted by mossbay369 on 07/01/2009

I have been a customer of Fuzzy's on Antione for 20 years. Today was the last time. The women who called herself the owner was rude, loud, arrogant - told me they had no resposibility for making sure an order was correct. She put the phone down on me twice while I was explaining the order we had picked up was wrong. She told me it was my responsibility to make sure the order was correct and if I called again she would call the police on me. Such rudeness does not deserve to be supported. I doubt Fuzzy would approve nor the former President and First Lady. In fact I think they would be extremely disappointed that a once friendly place to eat had deteriorated so much.

I WILL NEVER RETURN TO FUZZY'S

    Posted by ers1 on 06/09/2009

Im still in shock as to what happened at Fuzzys the other week. my wife placed an order for pick up, and when I got to the pizza place the old man at the front starting ringing up my order. I didnt know what my wife had ordered and the price seemed pretty high, so I asked excuse me, can u please tell me what my wife ordered? and are u ready for this..he threw my credit card back at me, and told me Im being cheap and asked me why dont u trust your wife? are the both of you poor and can't afford this meal? I was about to jump over the counter and grab him but instead I kept my cool and told him I want a credit and Im never eating there again he then told me to "GO TO HELL." I have since disputed the charge with American express (which I was successful at) and I reported the incident to the BB B (which I urge everyone to do.) This restaurant should be out of business, but WE need to act and report these incidents to the BB B. there is MUCH better Pizza in Houston. who needs fuzzy's!!!

Admit good pizza but HORRIBLE customer service

    Posted by jessef3 on 06/09/2009

I too have never written a review however would have to agree with others that the owners, particualarly the female owner lacks common sense and consideration. The owner critzed my 18yr old daughter because she dropped her order of 2 slices of pizza off their new plates, which are very slippery. When we first walked in a man did the same thing and he was treated to new slices at no charge by the male owner. When the samething happened to my daughter the female owner was out and she got irate. She said it was my daughter's fault because she looked all dazed like she was sleepy or on something. The fact is my father was lying on his death bed and my daughter was down but not on anything!! The owner then argues with me that her mohter is ill too which gives my daughter no excuxe. I would have been willing to pay again for the pizza but do not criticize your customers and particulary my children. The man who dropped his pizza before me was aplogizing for our experience with the owner! What happened to the days when customers were always right?!? I have been to Fuzzy's for the last 15 yrs or more for dinner, lunch and birthday parties but ll never return again.

I have had a run in with the owner myself which leads me to believe the following account a co-worker sent me about one of his friends experiences at Fuzzy's. Please read. _____________________________________ I am still at a loss for words over the verbal assault that took place last night, Monday June 1st, 2009, at the hands of the owner of Fuzzys Pizza on Antoine Drive.all less than three feet from my 2 year old son who was in my arms. Even more amazing is what set this man off is the fact that he couldnt fill a to-go order completely. I had my 2 year old son with me, we had paid and were waiting on the order. The buzzer went off and we went to the counter where the owner handed me one salad. I told him we had two salads and four slices of pizza. Frustrated at that point, he went back to the kitchen and returned with the pizza slices. I told him we were still missing one salad and he went irate. He screamed I didnt take your order! I told him he needed to calm down, that I was just trying to get what I ordered. At this point he began yelling F--- You, I am the owner, F--- You. This was all about three feet from my son, whom I was holding. He then came around from behind the counter to get closer to me and my son, as he continued with the F--- Yous, even with me saying I have a baby here. When I looked at my son, he was shaking and crying as he looked at this man still screaming at us, so I got him out of there. Sadly, we live in a world where a father cant protect his son and put another man with these character traits in his place, as I would certainly be facing lawsuits if I had l_id a hand on him. So my only move is too spread the word about this place and what other parents could be exposing their children to. My wife and I looked at restaurant reviews last night and sure enough these owners have made it common place to cuss and scream at patrons because of their own frustrations. It was always between two adults up until last night, when this man involved my 2 year old child. My hope is that all who read this will (i) never go to Fuzzys Pizza again, and (ii) forward this email to all you know. The only way to get back at this man who holds absolutely no concern for children is to affect him where it hurts, his business. Thanks for taking time to read and if this infuriates you as it has me, please forward to other Houstonians. Several people have already informed me they will be sending personal letters to the restaurant to advise the owners they have become aware of this incident (feel free to use my name) and will never eat at Fuzzys Pizza again. If youd like to also send a letter, their address is: Fuzzys Pizza 823 Antoine Drive Houston, Texas 77024

    horrible customer service

    Posted by acl65 on 06/02/2009

Like many many other reviwers, I also have to comment on the bad, rude service I have witnessed and been subjected to. This restaurant is in a nice, affluent neighborhood and there is a lot of disposable income surrounding this restaurant, but I suspect people will begin to stay away in droves due to the poor treatment. Contrary to an earlier post, these are not posts from competitors-just former patrons.

PARENTS SHOULD NOT BRING CHILDREN AROUND THE OWNER

    Posted by DGN2009 on 05/31/2009

I have been a customer for years. My 2 year old son and I went in to pick up a to-go order tonight (June 1, 2009). The owner (husband) handed me my order and it wasn't complete. I told him what was missing, he filled more of the order but still not complete. At this point he went irate, screaming that he wasn't the one who took my order. He then began screaming "F-- You, I am the owner, F--- You, don't ever come back here". This entire time I had a 2 year old baby in my arms. My son was crying and shaking and this man continued to scream "F-- You, get out and don't come back". This man is unstable and this is definitely not a place to take children, much less take anyone there. I have never written a review in my life and was amazed when I got on this site (at the suggestion of a friend) and read the similar reviews. Not sure how this place is still in business. NOT A PLACE FOR CHILDREN!!!!!!! I am not in the pizza or restaurant business, just a concerned parent wanting to get get the owners character public.

    Horrible Customer Service!!!

    Posted by AnAngel on 05/26/2009

I have never written a review before in my life but after the horrible experience I recieved at fuzzies a few weeks ago I needed to find an outlet to vent. I am not from houston, I am from up north and was told my a friend that fuzzies has great food, so I decided to check it out. I was told they have been around forever like the last person on here said and obviously my friend would never have sent me to Fuzzies had she known what I would encounter. The customer service at the counter is by far THE WORST service I have EVER encountered. I only ordered a couple things.. there seemed to be some confusion as to what I had ordered so I checked my bag before I left ( there is even a sign outside that tells you to check your bags before you leave). Everything was wrong in my bag, wrong sandwich..etc.. and this really wouldnt of been THAT big of a deal had they just said they were sorry and corrected it but they practically YELLED at me infront of other ppl saying it was MY FAULT for making them feel rushed.. make them feel rushed? I was simply just standing there with everyone else waiting.. I wasnt even in a rush! They belittled me, through my new bag back at me ( almost fell on the floor) and told me to never come back again. I walked out practically crying and in shock, it all happened so fast I didnt even have a chance to defend myself. Just before I joined here I read the other reviews and cant beleive other ppl experienced such similar things. I'm filing a complaint with the BB B ( never did that before either) If these guys were in buisness so long I would imagine that its probably recently these situations started happening or they would never have lasted so long. I cant even comment on the food because I was so upset I didnt even eat. My friend felt terrible and will never go there again as well. The houston area has WAY to many choices as far as restaurants go.. don't waste your time here.. these are obviously not very stable ppl.

Pizza great; customer service great; prices fair

    Posted by Jeff1960 on 03/12/2009

The reviews that seem too ridiculous to be true are just that. UNTRUE! Mr. Fuzzy has been in business a long time and you don't stay in the pizza business in Houston if you don't serve good pizza at good prices. I'd bet my last piece of pizza (g-d forbid) that the reivews which cite ridiculous stories are written by competitors. Go there -- try it once - you'll love it.

Great pizza - not so great price!

    Posted by DJS2 on 02/03/2009

We have been loyal customers of Fuzzy's on Antoine's for over 12 years. They are very consistent with their pizza and salads. Our only complaint and the reason we don't give them 5 stars is we feel the price of their pizza is too high and they don't deliver. Maybe with the competition of the new Russo's New York Pizzeria off the Katy Freeway @ Blalock, Fuzzy's will rethink their pricing.
