    Dinner at the bar....yum!

    Posted by Redrosenc on 07/18/2008

As a non-smoking couple we love to dine at the bar when we can, my husband gets a Hoegaarden (white Holland beer) in a tall glass with a slice of orange and the Bang-Bang shrimp, I get the White Wine Sangria, with 4 pieces of fresh fruit and the Calamari with two dipping sauces, classic marinara and spicy/sweet Thai. This is dinner for two our style and our age, been married 30 years.

    Great appetizers

    Posted by dkelly336 on 05/01/2008

My husband and I recently tried Bonefish Grill for the first time. The appetizers were marvelous - you must try the spicy shrimp appetizer - great! Also the calamari was crisp and the sauces really good. The entrees were good, heavy even for grilled and not as flavorable as one would expect after the appetizers. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive, but not over-bearing, and was very knowledgable of the menu. She even surprised us dessert - we we celebrating parent's night out. All in all our dining experience was very good and we will definetly return for appetizers and a beer at the bar.

    Love their Swordfish!

Everytime I am in Greensboro, I order take out from BoneFish. I love their Swordfish with butter/garlic sauce. Their salads are so yummy with the pine nuts. The food is consistent high quality.

    Wonderful!

Bonefish Grill may be expensive, but it's well worth it. Those who are afraid it will only serve seafood, take heart, there's much more to entice you from the menu. The restaurant is dimly lit and the waiters all in black. The fresh bread and olive oil that come to your table are savory and hot. The appetizers and salads are tempting and good portioned. We've always liked our entrees, but never tried desserts. It's a great place to go, gets a little busy, but still feels cozy.

    somewhere in the middle

    Posted by keishawithak on 01/17/2005

Again, recently dined here on a Friday while visiting my bf (who lives in g'boro). It looks pretty impressive on the outside and he thought it'd be full of ambiance. Sadly it fell a little short - its a nice try though. It really seemed popular for large groups w/ something to celebrate, retired couples and families. Many were dressed up, when the place didn't really warrant it. The menu is slightly limited and are meals were tasty, nothing to sing about, but nonetheless fine. Waitstaff were dressed in chef jackets (we found a little confusing/odd) but all in all everyone was friendly and helpful. we will keep searching for the a true fine dining establishment in the area....
