JBM Patrol & Protection Corp

I am Steven Madaus, currently a Protective Services Agent with Walt Disney World in Florida. Prior to moving to Florida this past winter I worked for JBM Patrol-Madison. I was assigned to several high profile special events. I was required to pass a government background check administered by the U.S. Secret Service and Homeland Security. During one event, I worked with Special Agent Rick Valentine during Hillary Clinton visit to Madison. Others were Rev Jesse Jackson, Deli Lama and President Obama. I personally hired by Chief James Mankowski when the security company I previously worked for went out of business overnight when the owner was arrested. I needed a job and was assigned to a private retail franchise store for 7 years in 4 across southern Wisconsin. James has an open door for all his employees and you were always welcome to talk to him in person or over phone. No matter how busy he was, I could walk in and got 5 to 10 minutes of his time. James has a soft spot, not many know about, (if you screw up you will know it but he gets the attention of the violator but doesn’t stack personnel jackets with a write up) his down fall is trusting employees who take advantage of the company. James is dedicated to his family. With 2 boys growing up and needing their father for the activities in the everyday life, his boys and his company equal the man. If asked he will tell you ASAP everyone is a good person even if their actions suggest otherwise. James is a person who would shop at my assigned posts. You better have yourself in a proper uniform. If you were not, dismiss yourself and retrieve it. He would stand your post until the correction had been made. JBM has regular trainings with experienced Police Officers from the greater suburban Madison area. I can honestly say I learned a great deal from these police officers. The first day I was hired Chief James Mankowski, he asked me what was my lifelong dream job would be. I told him, to work for Walt Disney World in Florida. In December 2013, I was offered and accepted a position in Florida. During my time I worked under many great Sergeants and a Lieutenant. I often have said JBM Patrol is not your typical security company. Trust me I have been in the business for a little over 30 years. If you want to belong to a family owned security company there is only one place in Madison, JBM Patrol & Protection

very professional couldn't ask for a better crew

I worked for this company for a little over 13 years. Recently, I had to find a postion outside of security because of family reasons and scheduling. During my 13 years I had the opportunity to work with the company's administration and saw many changes for the good. If I were to hire a security force I would hire JBM as they are the true meaning of protection and actually train and care about their officers. The only down fall to JBM is there is no flash, they simply get the job done and by being honest and not flashy has stunted the company's growth efforts. I would rank them the top of their game.

When you want good old fashion service without smoke and mirrors call on these guys. They are honest, dependable and back their service. Some companies will claim to be the best but that is just it a claim.

Very prompt, professional and trustworthy.

Today, my company had an emergency and there was a need to hire 3 security guards asap. I called JBM Patrol & Protection and spoke with the company owner. I was given a price and within 30 minutes I had one guard and 30 minutes later I had the other 2. To have 3 guards within 1 hour was impressive. The guards we were sent were not only here in a flash but they were dressed in professional uniforms with official cars. I was very happy I made one call as my time wasted calling others would have delayed the immediate response. Thanks again JBM!
