I moved to Milwaukee in 1999 and had no previous knowledge of "who to call" for various mechanicals in my condo. When my air conditioning failed to work efficiently during the height of a heat wave in 2000, I was in a quandry....who to call? On a Sunday evening, I proceeded to call a number of "HVAC" companies and of course, everyone was closed. I called Gregg Heating and in desperaton, left a voice message......to my amazement, "Gregg" himself called me back....he said he'd come "right out" and take a look. That's exactly what happened. I was stunned.
In the years that followed, I have had Gregg Heating replace my central air, my furnace as well as make annual yearly "check-ups" on each system. Everyone at Gregg Heating including the office staff, technicians and installers, have consistently been respectful, prompt, professional! As a result, I have recommended Gregg Heating without hesitation to family and neighbors. Each of them has used Gregg Heating and also experienced the same high level of service that I have come to expect.
I've never written an unsolicited endorsement regarding a company but I offer this to you as an enormously satisfied customer of Gregg Heating.......

Wouldnt Use Anyone Else

My brother-in-law referred us to Gregg Heating 3 years ago to replace our boiler. We have since used Gregg Heating for several other needs in our house and have been nothing less than thoroughly satisfied. Gregg, himself, has come to our home to give us our estimates and figure out what is best for our needs. The price has always been very fair and the service exceptional. From the men that come to the installation, to Lynn the receptionist, to Gregg himself, we wouldn't call anybody else for Heating and Air Conditioning. It is a really great feeling to find someone you trust that much. I have gone on to recommend Gregg several other times to several other people who have all said the same thing. Gregg Heating is great!

We have been dealing with Gregg Heating and Air Conditioning for over 30 years. We have always been completely satisfied with the service, the employees and the products they have to offer. We have recommended Gregg Heating to many of our friends and have received good reports from them as well. Whether the service call was reguarding heating or air conditioning concerns, Gregg Heating has always been prompt, efficient and able to solve the problem at a fair price. We will continue to use their service and to recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

My family was completely satisfied with the exceptional work done by everyone at Gregg Heating. My husband is very particular about work done at our home. Luckily he is very knowledgeable and able to maintain/fix our home; for this reason we rarely contract out work. When it came to installing a new furnace and central air, it was necessary to call in the experts. Greg's appraisal for the work was timely and reasonable. We were able to schedule the work when it was convenient for my family. The crew that was assigned to our home was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Everything from checking for asbestos, removal of the old furnace, installallation of the new furnace/air conditioner to adding a new electrical box worked like clockwork!! We couldn't be more pleased. We have told friends and family about the outstanding work done by Gregg's Heating.

I have used Gregg Heating for over 30 years now and most recently (2007) to replace the furnace, central air, and humidifier in both my home and my Mother's. Before I replaced my old equipment, Gregg provided exceptional service in keeping it going, replacing parts when needed and cleaning it regularly. His motto was "if you like it and it works well without much expense why replace it" a phrase rarely if ever heard from other companies who continually try to sell you something before you are ready to buy. I will never use another company and here are a few reasons why.
Throughout the years that I have dealt with Gregg and his company he has never wavered in his impeccable knowledge of HVAC, workmanship, and professionalism. He has always given 'more' than his quotes for service. For example, when on a Friday morning it was determined that my Mother's furnace was unsafe and needed to be shut down (potential of causing her death due to harmful gasses being emitted), Gregg and his staff took extreme measures to get a new furnace installed by that Friday afternoon so that she would not be without heat.
Before I replaced my very old and inefficient furnace, Gregg saved me hundreds of dollars several times when I thought my central air and/or furnace broke. The usual problem was a bad switch or fuse or some other really cheap fix. Then when finally I needed to replace everything, Greg again came through with a great quote for replacing the furnace, air conditioner, and humidifier.
Another time, I was looking after a friend’s house and pets while they were out of town for Thanksgiving. Their furnace stopped working. It was getting cold in their home and I knew they also used Gregg Heating. Being concerned for their pets, I called Gregg, it was on a weekend and he came out and fixed the problem. My friends were very relieved that they did not have to worry about the furnace and were able to enjoy their holiday knowing that they could pay Gregg when they got back into town.
Gregg Heating has always gone the extra mile in the service they provide to customers and they have always been more than willing to work with me on things that may be out of the ordinary. Gregg and his staff are of high moral character and work hard every day to maintain a very high ethical standard in their business. He provides quality service at a very fair fee. And although some people may be very disillusioned about what quality service actually costs these days and really are only looking for something for nothing, I am happy to pay reasonable fees for service I can count on with people I can trust. I would have to be nuts to even think of using another company

We would never use Gregg Heating again or recommend them to anyone. Very rude and not professional. They did not care about us and our situation. They do not try and make the customer satisfied! WAY OVERPRICED!!!

Very Dissatisfied Customer - STAY AWAY

Gregg Heating came out to clean my two furnaces. Well they cleaned the furnaces and said that there were two parts the needed to be replaced. They replaced the parts which cost $175.00 a piece. I found out that you can purchase these parts for $40.00. I called other heating companies and they only charge $60.00 per piece. They overcharged me by 400% versus other heating companies.
Gregg Heating is a not a customer orientated business. I had a discussion with the owner (Greg) who was extremely RUDE and MEAN to me on the phone, I literally had to hang up on him. They do not care about their customers, only themselves and making money.
