while i do like their chicken sandwich a lot, it seems thats really all they have. because of this, i really can't go there more than about once a week or else it just gets old. and while i like the way the company is run, im always leery about their (too) religious underpinnings.

    Chick-Fil-A

Chick-Fil-A claims that they invented the fried chicken sandwich -- maybe they did. Chick-Fil-A offers good bargains if you use the two for one coupons that often come in the Sunday newspaper. Unlike typical beef-based fast food restaurants, they are (obviously) primarily focused on chicken, and it comes in many forms, including sandwiches, salads, and wraps. They have an excellent Southwest-style salad. Their chicken comes both broiled and fried. You may want to try the waffle-shaped fries, or one of their other side dishes. They serve breakfast as well.

    My Favorite Fast Food

Posted by Jen W. on 02/22/2006

The service and food at Chick-Fil-A are second to none. The original chicken sandwich with extra pickles is my favorite. My kids devour the chicken nuggets too. The nuggets appear to be made from real chicken unlike the lips and eyeballs that I can only assume are in the McDonald's nuggets. I could take or leave the waffle fries--not my favorite. The people who work here are always so friendly. They continually use phrases like "My pleasure" "Please" and "Thanks, enjoy your day" What a novel idea to actually treat customers with respect! I guess being closed on Sundays helps the workers to rejuvenate and prepare for the week ahead so they do not get so burnt out. I was in there several months ago and the manager was actually going around to every table that was eating a salad and offering fresh ground pepper!? What? That was very unusual. I really did not know what to make of that. But how can you argue that was not appreciated and good customer service.
