Custom Furniture Design & Millwork
In addition to producing quality spaces, KSA has the in-house capability to design & fabricate custom furniture & built-in millwork. Our shop in Brooklyn, NY is run under the direction of Henry Greene, an experienced cabinetmaker & mill worker. We can design anything from custom pieces as part of a complete architectural project down to a simple kitchen table.
Interior Design & Architecture
Interior design services can be added to an architectural project or rendered on their own. We will produce color palettes, finishes, light fixtures, & furniture to create an overall concept for a room. finish & furniture plans are based on how the client wants to use the space, & research of design precedents. In conjunction with Concept Visualization, a professional computer rendering studio, we can provide realistic imagery of how a room will look to aid the client in making design decisions.
Research & Development
We are particularly interested in the socio-economic aspects of architecture & urban development & welcome the opportunity to produce research on specific neighborhoods or regions, housing studies, and the development of building typologies. We have worked with various research institutions to produce monographs and research related to urban development and housing, including the Center for the Analysis of Social Exclusion at the London School of Economics and the Max Locke Center at the University of Westminster in the UK.
