    Good place to learn new skills

    Denverites are lucky to have this resource. Want to learn fly fishing or watercolor painting or cabinet repair or Reiki massage? Good, you can do it all in one place, at Colorado Free University. Colorado Free University is centrally located, and very convenient. Their facility is spacious and welcoming. The teachers are well-qualified (not everyone gets to teach here). Some classes go for 6 or 8 weeks, others are held in one day workshops. This is a good way to get out and meet people while learning valuable skills.

    The name can be misleading, but don't let that stop you! Colorado Free University offers some of the best and most unique classes around! My husband and I took a cooking class, which was top notch! Every time I look through their catalogs, I find classes I wish I could take! They offer computer classes, art classes, dancing classes, and the list goes on and on! It is a great opportunity to learn something new!

    Take a class in anything. Don't spend much but get a lot. There is anything you can think of taught by everyday folks who know a bit about something. This is a community education group and it reflects that. Very friendly and welcomes the curious, creative, and interested.
