On initial contact they sound enthusiastic about everything about you.
However on my initial visit to their 'office', I was interviewed by a male (can't remember name or anything).
The interview went along the same path most do and then........ he whips out his cellphone and wants to take a photograph of me for Nancy!!
On meeting Nancy, she seemed really scatty.... she did line up one or two interviews for me, but instead of encouragement etc to prepare for them - told me that I looked 'very young, perhaps too young - but we'll send you anyway'.
A very bad experience on my part for an RN with 10 years experience under her belt.

Don't Bother

Last year I went to Larking because I had used them in the late 80's to early 90's and they were on top of their game. Again, I'm back searching for something part-time and decided to review them again; The reviews are what I experienced last year. The office was a mess the employees are unprofessional, I specified that I was looking for temp work on phone before going all the way downtown from Westchester and was told there were active jobs; get there they have nothing temp, only full-time! From what I was able to over-hear from 3 other prospective clients, Nancy didn't have that! Everyone was told to call the next day. 1 young lady came from Connecticut. Don't waste your time.

I applied for a job I saw on Craigslist. I knew it was an agency so I did not expect much. Nancy seemed very helpful when I interviewed. She told me that there were over 75 applicants for the job and that I was the last one. She told me to follow up the next week. When I did she gave me some phoney baloney about there being "interest in my resume" and that the hiring manager for the job was on vacation. She told me it would take time. That was more than a month ago and today I see the same job I applied for:back on craigs!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME PEOPLE!!!! Nancy will rush you out out of that dirty little office and off the phone so fast it will make our head spin. I do not believe they have any jobs at all, they just want resumes.

The Worst

I have never seen any office as disgusting as Larkin.So unprofessional.I was expecting so much but when I went there I saw a dirty,small and dark office.The employees were dressed like they just got back from the gym. The worst though are the owners who acted like they own you and the world.
That is not even the worse,If you can get over their unprofessionalism, they never found me or anyone I know any kind a job.What a waste of time.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF TIME AND DO NOT MEET THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE.

After going to this agency over 2 years ago and calling when Nancy told me to and never returning my calls. This agency had the "BALLS" to contact me after 2 years and ask if they could e-mail my resume to a company who needs a PT. Biller/Collector I would not give Nancy my business I would stick it to her like she did so many other people who trusted her and beleived her BS.

BIG waste of my time

If you are looking for a Dental job I recommend Craigslist. Larkin jerked me around for many weeks and could not get me any jobs. The manager avoids talking to you as much as possible after meeting with you the first time. Plus, I personally didn't like her and the jobs she sent me to. So far I have found a great job at Craigslist and have been very happy since.

If you are looking to be placed in the medical field, I feel Larkin Agency is the best place to register with. I am confident Nancy and the rest of the staff at the agency will do an excellent job in providing placement opportunities. I recommend this agency far above Winston Staffing any day. The staff at Larkin is professional and they do their job.

Very, very, very, good Agency

I recommend the Larkin Agency. Nancy is straight forward with you and lets you know how to dress and act when you go to the interview. She also helped me with my resume because I had a lot of experience but I did not know how to word it correctly. I told her I was looking for a part time position, and she was able to place me. At the Time I was in school and was looking for a part- time job and she found me a spot on the days I needed in a great Hospital in the city. I am very pleased with the services from the larkin agency, and my supervisors and managers will not accept any temps unless they come from that agency because she only takes the best. So if you gave her a bad review it?s probably because you where no good enough!!!!!!

Waste of Time

This agency contacted me about a job they had posted on Craigslist, and asked me to interview. After the interview I was told there may be a job available for me, not the one I applied to, but another. I was asked by Nancy, my interviewer, to call back on the following day. When I called she said that nothing was available right now, and I should call back again on the day after, without even mentioning the position that was proposed previously. I only wish I had not wasted my time to visit their office. Thank God I did not pay for their "service".

Waste of time

Complete waste of time! My experience post interview was just horrible. Nancy comes off as being very supportive at first but the previous review was correct: she is always too busy to talk to you after she insists that you call back. And when I did call, I felt as if I was an annoying her. Basically, I wouldn't recommend this agency.
