Buyer beware

They sold us a 97 diesel Mercedes and didn't even look it over-they lied and said they did. The fuel filter was filthy, the oil was too. The glow plugs died and to top it off the transmission died on the road in a rainstorm, because they never checked the fluid. When my husband went back two days later to check on the car they lied again & said they'd checked it. They had not, they had no code. So he checked it with them and that's where they discovered the burnt transmission fluid. The bill for the new transmission & glow plugs is over $5000. We've known them for years and they treated us this way. If you think they'll treat you any better as a stranger, good luck!
