DO NOT USE THIS LIMO COMPANY!!!!!!

My mother contacted the owner to reserve a limo for my wedding. He told her that a deposit needed to be made over the phone that day. She passed the phone to me and I told him that all I cared about was that the limo was in perfect working condition and that it was newer-looking. He guaranteed that it was in working condition and it was "a 2006 vehicle...like brand new". When my fiancee and I went to the business, we saw the vehicle with the hood up and a maintenance worker working on it. It was a rust bucket. The base-board of the limo was spray painted black to cover obvious rusting. The carpet of the limo was visably stained. I sat down with Mike, the owner and we agreed on another limo in his yard, the "tuxedo style" limo, but he said it would be another $200 deposit. I told him that I'd either bring the payment to his office or mail it. Without my parents' permission, he charged their credit card. He also mentioned in our first meeting that 30 days before the wedding, full payment would be due. Approximately 60 days before the wedding, again without my parents' permission, he charged their credit card for the full balance. My parent's weren't even paying for the limo....I was supposed to! That's credit card FRAUD! The most horrible part of the service was that the lights and music went out in the limo...followed by the limo breaking down. I missed out on taking pictures at a venue that I placed a $150 deposit down on. I was 45 minutes late to my reception and had to be driven by my photographer in order to make it in decent time. After battling with the owner, he finally agreed to refund me the $150 deposit that I lost on the photography venue. I've been calling him for over a month now....one reason for a delay after another...and now his phone has been shut off!

My mother called the Limo Service of Cleveland, located in Berea because a friend of hers used it as their wedding day limo service and got a huge discount. She interviewed Mike the owner, then passed the phone to me for the final decision. I told Mike that the only thing I cared about was that the limo was newer-looking, clean & in excellent condition. Mike told me that the vehicle was a 2006 and was "like new". He stated that the deposit would be $200 and the final balance would be due two weeks in advance of the event. I gave my mom the "OK" to put the $200 deposit on her credit card, (as the deposit was a gift from her and my father.) I also arranged for a meeting for my husband and I to come in, check out the vehicle and sign the contract. When my (then) fiancee and I pulled up to the company office, right away red flags were raised when we saw a mechanic working with the hood of the vehicle proped open. The mechanic told us that it was "routine" for him to check the vehicle before every run. He showed us around the limo and to my dismay, it was a rust bucket. The limo was white with a black baseboard. The baseboard had a few dents and to cover obvious rusting, they spray-painted over it with black paint. The interior of the vehicle was dirty and the carpeting had major staining. When the owner pulled in the drive and took us into his office, I informed him of my concern. I told him that I was interested in another of his vehicles, to which he replied that I'd have to submit another $200 deposit on top of the initial deposit to cover for the different vehicle, which he suggested was in "higher demand". I told him that I didn't have the money at the time of the appointment & I advised that I'd either mail or drop of the payment. Mike charged the full balance and 2nd deposit to my parents' credit card without their permission. The limo broke down & I'll never be able to relive the photos and memories of that day.
