Nasty Nasty place!
Posted by BabyLove93 on 08/11/2009
I got a bengal cat from Anne. She told me she would send me the papers when the came in...and I never got them! SO I e-maild her several times to ask her about them and she still didn't do anything about them! To make a long story short, I never did get the bengals papers. And the cat was terrified when I got him and he never really did warm up. I think its the way the bengals are kept there. So not only is it an aweful place to board your animals...its a terrible place to buy a bengal cat from also. If you are interested in getting one, look elsewhere! Not only is she rude, but she obviously doesnt know how to handle her own place of business and keep stuff clean and animals healthy! That is just Horrible!!! People like that make me sick!!!!! Also when I went there the floor was all bumped up probably from all the animal urine! And this is in the lobby!!!! Gross!!!

Abusive To Animals
Posted by newfy on 04/26/2009
I should have known something was wrong when I called to make kennel arrangements for my dog and cats. I asked how I should package their food. Anne, the owner, said, "You don't need to bring food, we have enough here." I ignored her comment and brought their food anyway. Two days later my healthy Newfoundland was dead. We had a necropsy done and the results clearly showed this wasn't a natural death. The doctor said he probably died of heat stroke. Anne did mention he kept knocking over his water. Yeah, he does that and then lays in it to cool off! Did they even bother to refill it? Here's the kicker...they charged me for the two nights he was there!!! Plus, they charged me for my three filthy cats. Their carriers were so nasty that I didn't recognize them. And it took a week before the smell on my cats was finally gone. By the way, when I picked up my cats, they showed no remorse; they said nothing about my dog. So sad. He was such a big part of our family. My children are in tears. Within one week after returning home, I can't tell you how many horrible stories I've heard about this place. Good friends of ours also kenneled their dog there. He came home in terrible shape. He wouldn't stop drinking water and kept throwing up. Run, do not walk away from this place! What they do to animals is criminal.

NO STARS!!

Definately not a comfy/cozy place for your pet. My dog got post traumatic stress after an overnight stay here. After I dropped my dog off before closing, I drove back to Camp Wag A Tail, the building was dark and closed. My dog was left unattended and in the dark. When I picked my dog up, she smelled and had wet feet. Stupid as it may seem, I took my dog back to Camp Wag A Tail to be groomed. My dog was shaking uncontrollably and wouldn't move - they pulled her by her leash and had to drag her to go back to be groomed. The staff also has NO CLASS, seam unfriendly and operate like an assembly line. They don't seem to have much concern for your pet. They seem to have forgotten that our pets are also our family members and my precious DOGGER will not be going back.

Awful Experience

I actually bought a Boston Terrier from Ann and her husband at Campwagatail... Boy was I fooled.. I thought it was a little funny when she decided to bring all the pups into the lobby instead of taking me back to where they were.. I paid 350.00 for a male which had no papers and the understanding was because she breed them for housepets not to make a ton of money.....RIGHT I have had him almost 8 months and since we have put over 1600.00 in vet expenses.. Apparently he has a genetic disorder called Legg Perssies diesease and it makes bones that are gorowing weak and soft.. Well after a broken Hip Knee and several sprains I decided to call Ann....She was very ignorant and Rude... I would never by an animal or take my animal to her facility.. He reply was I could return the puppy and she would replace him..COME ON..he is now part of our family and myself as well as our kids are attached... She is breeding to make money and doesnt care what happens to the animals or owners for that matter.... She needs to be shut down!!!

My dogs stayed there in the past. However, we went to drop our dogs off a few weeks ago and boy had it changed. My husband and I went back to where they keep the dogs. There were shovels covered in feces out. Many of the pens were full of feces. Dogs were dirty. It was incredibly gross. It stunk so bad that I ran out of the place gagging my insides out. When my husband came out, I was in tears. I could not leave my babies there. We went back and got them. At first the worker said he did not know if he could give us our dogs. They would have had the police there if that would have happened!!! The owner showed up and he told us he was only there on the weekends, he could not control everything. Helloooo...it is your business. The funny thing is that we called them the day before and questioned some of the reviews we found. The answer was that it was their competitor. Well, guess what? We aren't. Please, be nice to your pets... DO NOT GO TO CAMP WAG A TAIL!!
If I could give zero stars, I would!!!!

AWFUL!!!!!!!!

"I give this facility NO STARS! My girl friend's 7 month old puppy was recently attacked by the owners Dog and died later night! The dog that attacked my girl friends puppy was a 120 LB + Mastiff that the owner breeds and sells at the kennel. When my girl friend's husband took the puppy in that morning he told the manager to keep ALL BIG DOGS away from the puppy because she was a rescue pup and very timid. The manager said that the puppys are together and away from the adult dogs. HE LIED! The poor little pup was attack 45 minutes after being dropped off! This should not have happened! We take our pets to these facilities to be looked after and be cared of not to be neglected, abused and ATTACKED! This place should not be allowed to board any pets! They should be shut down!"

Stinky and dirty
Posted by cinpat on 10/03/2007
Only thing I can say is this place is stinky and dirty. The pets coming out looked as if they were kept in their own filth! I only went in for grooming, and never went back. The owner or manager was rude, to the lady before me in line. It made me sick to see dirty paws and stinky dogs, made me wonder how long they were in the kennel or if they had been let outside. I walked out and went to another grooming shop. Everyone beware who are letting their pets stay there. The customer in front of me, was complaining about just that. Her dogs smelled!
