Pain Free Mammogram and Appointment times are honored!! Friendly Staff.

Although the reception staff is lacking, the techs are great. genuinely friedly (not canned "hi how are you") I have MS and have trouble moving sometimes but the techs (2 differret tests) were helpful in getting me positioned and for the first time in my 25 years experience, i had a mammogram that was actually pain-free. when i comment to the tech how well it went, she replied that she takes here time. when techs rush is when this test is painful. i had a DEXA (bone scan) and the tech there was great in getting me into position and got me through the scan quickly. I was seen at my APPOINTMENT time (dual appts) and was quickly on my way home. It's a clean somewhat modern appearing facility and the equipment seems to be new and inline with today's technology. the one problem i did have (waiting for resolution pending) is that they coded my scan incorrectly and until it is cleared up, I am being held responsible for $15.00 copay which is incorrect. there is supposed to be NO CHARGE for Mammograms and DEXA screening when you have a medicare HMO. other than that one little (hopefully resolved tomorrow when they call me back) it's one of the best places to go for radiological evaluations.
