After having my leaded door repaired by another company, and break again, I had to find a company that offered leaded glass repairs with a guarantee. Trey came out to the house and took measurements to totally replace the leaded oval in my door, after seeing how many cracks I had in different places. It was so easy and convenient. I didn't have to remove the door, take it to him, and put plywood in its place. He made the oval back in his shop, brought it back out to my home and installed it a week later in minutes! It was a huge relief to have a door that looked nice again. Trey was very professional and precise with his work, as well as a perfectionist. This was a huge improvement from the sloppy job from the previous repair company. The door looks great, and he further supported it with rebar to hold the glass in place to prevent any future shaking of the glass. I would definitely recommend this company for all your leaded glass repairs. I checked around ATL, and there aren't many who offer service at your door. A1 Stained/Leaded Glass was great!

Being in the residential building trade for over 17 years, I've seen bad work, good work, and excellent work and Trey does excellent work. Trey responded to my e-mail with a quote the same day despite the fact that I e-mailed him well after 4pm. He showed up on time to access the damage and to my surprise the quote remained the same which I may add was very very reasonable. Even though the glass that needed to be replaced was thicker than usual and etched with a leaf pattern, I am happy to report that approximately 2 weeks later (from his initial visit) my door is seamlessly repaired and good as new. Most tradesmen that I have met with this kind of talent and expertise are usually very arrogant but Trey is down-to-earth, humble and doesn't mind answering your questions about what he is doing (but just let him work because the results stands without question). Not looking foward to the day my door may break again, but if it does, Trey WILL BE the man I call. Thanks Trey.

Trey did work on our front doors and repaired some leaded glass inserts. He was so efficient and resonable. I am very pleased and will reccommend his service to everyone and will certainly use A1 in the future.

Lead Glass Door Insert

I am thoroughly satisfied with A-1! Trey came in and rescued my family and I from a nightmare repair or should I say a disrepair that had been previously done by a company that had no experience in leaded glass repair. He was very professional and the new leaded glass insert was ready in a week. To my surprise the glass was simply beautiful!!!! I highly recommend A-1 Stained/Leaded Glass& Repairs!!!!!

I had matching doors and one smashed beyond compare. Trey made me a new inset...a perfect match for little more than the price of a repair. The doors look wonderful. Very impressive work.

I would recommend A1 to anyone! My neighbor had a repair done by Trey and she said how much she liked the work and the price. I called and was told that if I could send a picture of the repair I needed, I would get my estimate and time to repair it fast. Even though it was a holiday weekend, I got a call with the estimate and date to get it all done.
Trey called and arrived even a bit early (that never happens when I'm waiting for someone to fix something)!!
The repair was done on site and with no interuption to our house full of kids. He cleaned up everything and the leaded glass and sidelights of my front door look like new after 10 years!!
I would definitely recommend A1 to anyone because the quality of the work and the short time to fix it is great!

Trey was the only person who recommended replacing my door insert. It was battered & tattered beyond hope. I had 2 other gentlemen give me an estimate. The first said he would need to remove the insert & put up some plywood until he could made the repairs-- around the middle of July; he also kept changing the price of the repair! The second gentleman gave me a quote, sight unseen & told me he could make the repairs without removing the entire insert, right in the convenience of my own home!
Trey asked for photos of the damaged glass and insert measurements before he even would come out to give me an estimate. He was extremely thorough and professional from the very beginning. We talked on the telephone several times to discuss options and I was quite impressed by his honesty-- recommending that he build an entirely new insert. Repairs to the battered glass would be labor intensive & he would do that if that's what I really wanted. Right, I opted for a new work of art! A time was set up for him to come out to do a rubbing of the pattern & he was here, right on time! Trey got the pattern, offered some welcomed suggestions for changes, & exactly a week later, (just as he had promised), he returned to set the new insert! It is absolutely gorgeous; I could not be more pleased with the whole process. I have a brand-spanking new custom glass insert, stronger & more stable than the first. And all for less than I would have paid for a repair! I would highly recommend Trey to anyone who is needing repairs or wanting a custom work of art. I'm a customer for life! A1 & Trey are truly A1!

Trey replaced the glass in my front door and the sidelights on either side. I really had no idea what I wanted, just the style. He was able to come in and suggest what would look good. He made a template and about a week later, after reviewing the hand drawing with me, he was able to replace the glass. He did great work, and was always on time (which is VERY important to me). He kept in touch during the process. I would definetely use him again and would recommend him to anyone that I know!

Window looks great

Trey was able to give me some guidance on the design that I had quickly cobbled together from looking online at examples. Now that I see the window in person, I can see that he was right and I appreciate his candor. The window was a Mother's Day gift for my mother's dressing room in Florida, and it looks great in place. She has other windows that could use some decoration and I think I'm going to have Trey do those as well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a custom piece of stained glass.
