Trey saved the day and did an excellent job in replacing several broken panes in our leaded front door. He called ahead to confirm our appointment and arrived right on time. He was very quick in making the repair but took his time to match up the glass and to perform the work on the correct side so it doesn't look like anything was ever broken. His quote provided the day before was honored and was more than reasonable for the repair, I would highly recommend A-1 and Trey to do any glass work on your home.

A1 Leaded Glass (Trey Thomas) is Awesome. I would totally recommend them. My son threw a soft ball and broke a leaded glass payne in our front door. We are considering moving and needed to fix it. So, we called around and sent Trey a picture, he gave us an estimate and came out 2 days later. Once arriving, he assessed the situation, came up with a great solution and did a perfect job. Absolutely worth it. I would totally recommend him again.

Trey Really Came Through

We were in the middle of getting a new master bath. I had the great idea to use a window from an old house that I rescued from demolition as the quaint source of light in our new shower. Our construction guys got it all framed up and were ready to put it in place when we realized that the old window was bowed and couldn't be used. We were on a tight schedule, so I did a Google search on stained glass windows and found A-1 Stained/Leaded Glass. I looked at the beautiful windows, found our favorite and called Trey Thomas for help. The dimensions of the window I picked on the web site were 4 ft. X 4 ft. My opening was 24 in. by 2 in. Trey had several deadlines to deal with when we called him, but he took the time to create a beautiful smaller scale window for us that fit perfectly. And he had it ready for us in just a couple of days. I later learned that creating a smaller window with smaller pieces of glass is actually more difficult than working with larger windows. Thank you so much, Trey. You are a true stained glass wizard!

A Professional Job Well Done!!

We met Trey Thomas of A1 Leaded Glass by “accident”. Our landscape company’s lawnmower picked up a sizeable rock and slammed it through our leaded glass front door. We located Trey’s company through the yellow pages. He responded almost instantly and performed the repair to the leaded glass door in such a fashion that it is as good as new. The work was so professionally done that we engaged Trey to design an art work window for our master bath three window bay above our garden tub.
During the whole project Trey conducted business in a professional and congenial manner. He kept us informed and involved in each step of the process including concept, design, construction and installation. Our unique finished product is just exceptional. We are delighted with both the finished product and the manner in which the business portion of the project was conducted. Trey made and kept his commitments. We could not be more pleased with the results and the beauty of his art work.

Trey Thomas did an excellent job on a front door repair. He was extremely efficient - I emailed him photos of the job and he quoted me a great price within an hour. He soon came to do the job and was on time and very neat - two traits that are hard to come by today!! Hi not only fixed the agreed damage but took extra time to fix some earlier shoddy work that some one else had done - at no extra cost! I can't say enough about how happy I am and I know he has other satisfied customers in our neighborhood, Country Club of the South, Alpharetta, GA.

My 'window angle', which has great sentimental value to me, was accidentally dropped and damaged by my inquisitive granddaughter. Trey put the 'angle' back together so that she is stronger than she was originally. I am very pleased with the work as well as his fee. Will definitley recommend A-1 as well as use the services again if needed.

Trey replaced a plain window in my powder room with a beautiful, custom designed window. He incorporated the colors I wanted and worked with me on the design plan. His work is top quality and I am so pleased with the efficiency and neatness of the installation as well as the beauty of the window. The window has added a unique, special feature to my house. I would highly recommend his work to everyone, both for the quality of work as well as reasonable pricing.

After having my leaded door repaired by another company, and break again, I had to find a company that offered leaded glass repairs with a guarantee. Trey came out to the house and took measurements to totally replace the leaded oval in my door, after seeing how many cracks I had in different places. It was so easy and convenient. I didn't have to remove the door, take it to him, and put plywood in its place. He made the oval back in his shop, brought it back out to my home and installed it a week later in minutes! It was a huge relief to have a door that looked nice again. Trey was very professional and precise with his work, as well as a perfectionist. This was a huge improvement from the sloppy job from the previous repair company. The door looks great, and he further supported it with rebar to hold the glass in place to prevent any future shaking of the glass. I would definitely recommend this company for all your leaded glass repairs. I checked around ATL, and there aren't many who offer service at your door. A1 Stained/Leaded Glass was great!

Being in the residential building trade for over 17 years, I've seen bad work, good work, and excellent work and Trey does excellent work. Trey responded to my e-mail with a quote the same day despite the fact that I e-mailed him well after 4pm. He showed up on time to access the damage and to my surprise the quote remained the same which I may add was very very reasonable. Even though the glass that needed to be replaced was thicker than usual and etched with a leaf pattern, I am happy to report that approximately 2 weeks later (from his initial visit) my door is seamlessly repaired and good as new. Most tradesmen that I have met with this kind of talent and expertise are usually very arrogant but Trey is down-to-earth, humble and doesn't mind answering your questions about what he is doing (but just let him work because the results stands without question). Not looking foward to the day my door may break again, but if it does, Trey WILL BE the man I call. Thanks Trey.
