I have had acne since I was a teenager and at 42, I still struggle with it. In my lifetime, I have seen experts and literally tried every facial, seen the best doctors on both coasts including a few in Paris and Stockholm and although my skin is much improved it is not the skin I have envisioned for someone as diligent and lucky to have the means to do just about anything. Also, being a writer and producer in the entertainment industry I have had access and been to the absolute best of the best. I have done Accutane, lasers, microderm, peels, and everything in-between. So, to finally come across an articulate, well-informed facialist who knows what he is talking about was a gift. His name is Marc Edward and he gets it. He has worked for doctors in town and seen what works and what doesn�t work and what is charged for it. He has opened his own shop and he is my new skin couch and guru. He is intense because he is on a mission to reinform and reeducate everyone about what your skin needs. There is a lot of bad information out there and like any top athlete; a couch�s job is to make you rethink everything you have been taught to improve your game. He is a perfectionist and is constantly learning about the latest and greatest machines that all the doctors around town may have but not all three that he has at his place. Top of the line and state of the art are his goal. Always upgrading so his clients can have the very best. When you visit a skin doctor there is never a facial, just a quick procedure for a lot of money. Marc is also a talker and constantly giving an education and well as great advice during your facial. I wrote down his tips in my car in the parking lot after I left. He�s not the guy giving lengthy massages because although that can feel nice he would rather spend the time on your skin. I prefer his no nonsense approach and that we are �in it� together. Doctors are in the business of prescriptions, cutting, and often being invasive. Marc believes that you have a responsibility at home to do your part, to keep your wonderful results and he is very honest about it you wish to go to a tanning bed, sit in the sun or not wear your sunscreen don�t bother with any skincare because you are just doing more damage. I am excited that I was referred to him and will be booking my six-month series when I get my tax refund. In this economy he is fully booked, has bought those expensive amazing machines and he just launched his own skin care line that he incorporates with the best brands on the market. He doesn�t over sell you because he doesn�t have to. Your skin speaks for itself. I was glowing when I left and that is the proof. It takes a lot to impress me and he proved that not only did he know a lot, he knew a lot more than me, that�s what I have been looking for, a new captain for my ship. He is confident, knows his business and wants to achieve the skin that we didn�t even know was possible. My skin is with the best hands in LA and I am thrilled. He is so busy he actually works seven days a week so you have a better chance of getting in when you need that emergency boost. Do yourself a favor and get yourself to his studio, you won�t regret it and your friends will be jealous of your skin. If you�re nice you will share the secret with them but that�s only if they deserve it.

Great Facials

I went here for the first time last year. I was turned onto Marc Edwards through Goldstar and what a treat. This was my very first really professional facial. He had all the latest technology and a calming water fall that took me away from the noise and combustion of the outside world. I left feeling refreshed and my face looked better than it has in years! One drawback is the small location and the back to back appointments, so I seemed a little rushed at times. I also had to sit outside the office to fill out my paperwork as there is no room inside for more than Mr. Edwards and his current client. Overall, I would say try him. He was very knowledgeable and personable. I like the funky WeHo location as well. The French Market Place is always a fun location for lunch with friends.

This was my first facial and I was not expecting the professionalism, expertise or one-to-one discussion that I experience at Marc Edward Skin Care! I was thrilled when I realized that I was to be tended to by Marc himself. Not knowing exactly what I was getting myself in to, I assumed that I was going to have a facial much like I have seen at day spas (some cleansing, some creams and a head/neck massage). How wrong could I have been! This was SO much more. Marc provides a skin analysis and then performs the best facial for your skin type. Mine skin was dry AND lacked moisture! Two different things.......who knew! The facial was terrific. I glowed as I left. Marc was terrific. We agreed to a repeat performance. The whole experience......PRICELESS. I am now a convert and one of many walking promotions for Marc Edward. Thanks Marc....see you soon!

He Saved my skin!

When I first went to see my Marc my skin was a disaster. it was dry but i was also suffering from deep breakouts. now I have been getting hydra facials with acne and hydrating treatments and using his products and my skin has completely changed. now my skin is clear, beautiful, healthy and hydrated! I love going in for my facials and the products keep my skin looking great all the time! Marc saved my skin and being a actress/model probably my career too!! THANK YOU MARC!

The most unique facial I ever had. Marc uses state of the art equipment, delights in sharing his vast knowledge of skin care and product ingredients, and has a passion for his work combined with a marvelous personal touch. He catered to my every need. I was particularly impressed that the extractions did not hurt (a first for me). I will be a regular!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Marc is not only a real sweetheart but he is also more than knowledgable about skincare. He has every machine possible for facials. I decided to splurge a little and try the Hydrafacial. I couldn't believe the results. My skin was so soft and smooth and glowing afterwards. He even does teeth whitening! My teeth have been stained for years due to my smoking and coffee drinking habits and WOW after only a 30 minute treatment my teeth went 8 shades lighter! I seriously walked out of that spa a new person.

after trying numerous facials in the LA area. i have to say that marc is among the best he really knows what he is doing. and you will knoww this after your appt is over and you take a look in the mirror . i also feel that my skin looks better for a full week. he has free parking which is difficult to find in LA and he gives each client a private experience and the shop is just for you without the crowds and hassle of those big spas.

superb facial treatment

marc is very talkative. but i learned alot about my skin. the facial treatment which was his hydrafacial plus was the most interesting facial i ever have gotten before. it as a cornucopia of procedures in one visit and my skin just loved it, deeply cleansed, exfoliated and very very hydrated with a specialised masque he used. im going back since i dont feel my skin has looked this good before. sincerest thanks.

i have been going to marc for many years now but he just got a new hydrafacial machine and its so high tech. so instead of having my regular signature microdermabrasion facial which i really love. now i got to try what he calls hydradermabrasion. it felt so cool, he used a group of different serums to exfoliate my skin instead of crystals. i highly suggest this hydrafacial my skin felt totally moisterised and hydrated after and since it has been so dry this winter it needed it -im going to do one about once a month since i just turned 40 =) - free parking is great !and marc has some fantastic products i have been using for a couple of years now. i have sent many of my family members and co- workers to marc-thanks marc for all of your passion and good energy and my great skin.!
