Dr. Vaughn started working at Rutherford Veterinary Hospital in 1969. He is a 1967 graduate of Texas A & M University. He served 2 years in the Army before joining Rutherford Veterinary Hospital. He purchased the practice on May 22, 1985. Dr. Vaughn loves to practice even more now than in the past with the advancements made in veterinary medicine. The primary reason for his continued growth in this profession is his love of Continuing Education. Dr. Vaughn feels that all the advancements have enabled our hospital to lengthen the lives of and increase the quality of life of our patients.

Kerry Young is one of the three doctors at Rutherford Veterinary Hospital. She has been working here for 1 1/2 years. Kerry previously worked at a hospital in Texas City, just south of Houston. Dr. Young graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in May 2002. She received her Master of Science Degree in Veterinary Parasitology from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in August 1998. Dr. Young also received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Dr. Tiffany Tobaben is one of four doctors at Rutherford veterinarian at Rutherford Veterinary Hospital. She was raised in Plano, Texas and attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate and veterinary degree. She graduated from veterinary school in 2001. She has practiced in Dallas, Texas since her graduation.
