        Stepping Stones Learning Center, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., is a nonprofit, family-centered organization offering various early childhood programs for children till five years of age with and without special needs. The school has a student strength of more than 450 students and a staff of over 100 professionals. It provides a range of enrichment activities, such as computer skills, music and rhythm, creative art and dramatic plays. The school also offers individual speech therapy, social work and occupational and physical therapies when needed. The children are taught by a certified special education teacher with an assistant. The school also has a speech pathologist, music therapist and social worker on its staff. Additionally, it offers an autism program for children with special needs. Stepping Stones Learning Center is approved by the New York State Education Department and New York State Department of Health.

        I've stayed for some of our ch...

        I've stayed for some of our child's lessons and heard some things I never thought I would hear in a preschool. I've heard teachers talking about kids and their families in disrespectful ways. The staff seems to really not like most of the administration. The place seems to be dirty and unkempt. The supplies and toys seem old and dirty. I don't know how they are able to afford moving into a big brand new building with the conditions there as they are. There seem to be some good caring staff there, but there is a definite problem with the administration. They seem to have a maze of administrators for such a small school and everyone points to someone else if there is an issue. Most big middle schools or high schools even just have a principal and a couple VP's. I've waited two weeks aftter multiple calls to have calls returned from administration. A friend of mine called me tonight and told me to read the Google reviews of this school. I think every parent should read them.
