Surgery Center of Fairbanks

I had shoulder surgery by Dr. Wade last October. My frustration is with his office and how they schedule office visits. My first visit to his office had me signing in on a clipboard placed on the counter, I think for patient confidentiality yet if nobody is manning the desk anyone can see who has signed in. I waited over an hour before I was told that the Dr. was not even in. When I complained to the office manager she assured me that they would call if the Dr. is not available, thus not making patients wait for excessive amouts of time as some of us are taking time off of work for the appointment. My second visit was the same waited almost an hour before I went up to the unoccupied from desk and finally got someones attention. Was told that the Dr. was at the hospital and would be late. They seem to forget that just because we have already gotten our surgery we are still patients and our time is just as important to us as it is to Dr. Wade. I was impressed with the PT office!
