With over 90 years of experience in San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi, we have the expertise to create unique heirlooms that perfectly fit your style. Stephen McCune Upholstery is the oldest continuously operated upholstery shop in Texas. In 1923, Mr. McCune started a small shop that moved in the early 30s to a strip of land between the San Antonio River and an acequia that fed the Alamo. Today, the shop is well known for its quality furniture, durable fabrics, and excellent craftsmanship. If you've visited some of the finer homes around San Antonio, Corpus Christi, or the Hill Country, there is a good chance you've seen some of Stephen McCune Upholstery's work.

        Great repair service!!

        My dog trashed a 4x6 inch piece of vinyl backing on a leather couch. McCune's repair service found replacement fabric, dyed the material to an exact match, and re-installed the backing, all at a reasonable price and I was able to pick it up a day earlier than originally promised. Thanks Steve and Greg for saving my dog from the taxidermist.
