Highway robbery
Posted by Leerjetont on 10/15/2009
I wish I read reviews before i called. This company is a total rip off. They came out to fix my washer a few days ago. The price was outrages, I thought the guy was kidding at first. I paid the service call fee and did not do the repair. I called out another company the next day and they repaired it for half price. Turns out the part that needed to be replaced was only 26 dollars and they tired to charge me over 100 for it. I understand everyone needs to make money but god damn, this is just not right.

Rejuvenated my AC
Posted by SamanthaS09 on 06/17/2009
When I called for service on my poorly performing central air AC system, Prime Master actually came the same day, did extensive cleaning and servicing of my unit that was more thorough than I would have expected - and billed me very reasonably. I will continue to use this company with all of my heating and AC problems because of the honesty of the repair crew and the obvious hard work they put into the job

Thank You Prime Master
Posted by Jennifer1968 on 04/17/2009
It’s good to know that there are people that are always there for you, as they say, when the going gets tough. In many cases, over the years, I have come to rely on Prime Master to fix my appliances. They fix it all: from my Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf range, Kitchen Aid dishwasher, garbage disposer, washer and dryer. Recently, they came for my oven which I found out, as I was preparing for Thanksgiving, was not prepared at all. It was burning stuff and I can’t figure out what was wrong. So, as I was used to doing, I called Prime Master and they were able to come on the same day. The service technician they sent did a beautiful job. He left the oven, as I put it, sparkling clean and it worked wonderfully. I know I made the right decision in choosing Prime Master and I know others will too

I happened to have a problem with my Central HVAC system. Those guys seemed to have the most reasonable service call fee and the fastest turn around time. What impressed me the most is their professionalism and availability of all parts in stock. Reasonable price and you have you comfort again. I've asked if they could recommend me a plumber and i was told that they also provide plumbing services and their guy at my door an hour later. Story did not change.
I would like to thank them for taking care of me and all for a reasonable price. I will recommend you to everyone i know.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!
Posted by royalsmom2 on 09/04/2008
THIS COMPANY CHARGED ME TO FIX MY FRIDGE AND COULD NOT FIX IT AND THEN ACCUSED ME OF "TRYING TO CON THEM"......I hired this company to fix my 2 year old Amana refrige. The fans were not working and the coil inside was frozen solid. There was a 35.00 service charge (included in the parts and labor) to come out and give an estimate ... not bad. The tech, Jerry (nice guy) looked at the refrige... And within 5 minutes!! he said the problem was... the coils were dirty... the freon was low... and proceeded offered me the cleaning package for the low, low price of $259.00!!! The Amana, only being 2 years old, I knew it did not need freon. I told him to do the cleaning of the coils only. Surely, this would fix the problem. This was only a $82.00 charge. He told me to "cross my fingers" ...he turned on the frige... It didn't work. So he added the freon. This was an additional $130.00 charge. And of course it needed a "Charging Valve" an additional $47.00. Well, at this point... In my head, I was counting......($5..$10..$2..$4..$6). I called in my 11 year old A+ math genius. YEP... $259.00 to be exact. Jerry told me to "cross my fingers"... I crossed my fingers, my toes, my eyes and even blew on it for good luck. He turned it on... Still didn't work. He tested all the wiring. He said "all the wiring was at the correct voltage". After 2 1/2 hours still could not find the problem. Then he said (and he did actually say this) "I don't know how to fix this". He told me that if it didn't start to work on its own (???) in a few hours to call the company back and he would come back out the next day. UMMM... I DONT THINK SO!!!! I paid him... And then called the company I normally use. They charge $60.00 for a service call (not including parts and labor). When I called Prime Master, I was trying to save money (WHAT... I'm a single mother of 3). The Technician (30 years experience) came out and I told him what Jerry the technichan had done. Having worked with Amana's for several years, he checked the wiring and immediately found a burnt out wire connection to the defrost system!! This was a $10.00 problem. He also discovered that there was MORE than DOUBLE the amount of freon in the frige than normal. The Tech explained "if there is too much freon, the frige will think it too cold and the upper fan will not operate". (Extremely technical stuff) He adjusted the freon to the normal level and what do you know.... IT WORKED!! I was charged for the wiring $10.00 AND I WAS ALSO CHARGED TO CORRECT THE FREON THAT WAS NOT NEED THAT PRIME MASTER HAD DONE. The total came to $259.00!!!. "LORD HAVE MERCY!!! THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY" In my head ($5..$10..$15) As my 11 year old passes through the kitchen, he yells out "$518.00... GOD MOM!!!" I never liked math. (The tech had mercy on me and took off $100.00) Whew! I spent the next 2 days calling Prime Master asking them for a refund for charging me for services the refrigerator did not need. I talked to a guy named Max. I even faxed him the invoice from the other company, describing the problem with my frige. The conversations went nowhere. He did agree with me about the inexperience of the technican, but he wasn't going to give my money back because he said my frige really did need the coils cleaned, even though I did NOT call them to have my coils cleaned.... THEN...HE ACCUSED ME OF PAYING THE OTHER COMPANY TO WRITE A BOGUS INVOICE!!!!!! I am apaulled at this accusation, and for this reason I am writting this NOVEL to let you know PLEASE BEWARE!! PRIME MASTERS WILL TRY TO SELL YOU SERVICES YOU DO NOT NEED. The technicians are severely inexperienced! And... I know this... from my conversations with Max.. And him getting "expert" advice from his "senior technicians". WHO KNOW DIDDLEY SQUAT ABOUT APPLIANCES!!! OMG, did I just say "diddley squat" ?. It's late.... and this was a novel to write...BEWARE!!!!!! Shame on you Prime Masters!!! B.E.W.A.R.E
