My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with Chateau Marmutt! They are like an extension of our home. Our German Shepherd pup, Fenway, can?t wait to get into the play area and frolic with all the friends she has made there. She comes home happy (and exhausted)!!! The staff is fantastic --- they know every dog by name and are true animal lovers. Fenway greats them just like one of our family. Chateau M. is clean and safe. We feel 100% confident in their ability to look after our Fenway (we take her 2-3 times per week). We give Chateau Marmutt our highest recommendation!!

Don't believe the bad review! This place is AMAZING!

I just had to write in to say that someone is clearly lying about Chateau Marmutt. And if you look at the other reviews that user has posted, they are all negative and all directed at multiple dog grooming/daycare places. Seems to me like a competitor is underhandedly attempting to steal business away from respectable places! I've taken my cocker spaniel to Chateau Marmutt for years, and THEY ARE THE BEST! They're courteous and caring ... the type of people who love what they do and it shows! And cockers are labor-intensive to cut! But no matter what I ask for, whether it's a full on cocker cut or a short summer cut, they always do a wonderful job and my dog comes home beautiful and happy! Bottom line is: Chateau Marmutt has been around for so long and is so respected because what you see is what you get -- a trustworthy, fabulous place filled with happy dogs and people who love them.

Superior Dog Daycare and Staff

I have visited Chateau Marmutt on several occasions with my dog, Georgie, and seeing him get so excited to be there makes me very happy. The young man at the front always remembers Georgie and makes us both feel welcome. After Georgie's spa day he is so relaxed and well groomed that we are loyal customers.

My Dogs Love Chateau Marmutt!!!

I have been bringing my two pups to Chateau Marmutt for three years this december and my dogs just can't get enough. The staff is great! They are so friendly to the customer and they always have such a big smile when they see your dog. The play area is always clean and every time I pick up my pups I see all the other dogs having such a great time. I have been to several other dog daycares but they do not compare to the Chateau. I feel very secure leaving my pups there because I know they will be safe and they will have a great time. I definitely recommend Chateau Marmutt.

The best review I can give, is the excitement my dogs show (tails wagging) as they start their day at Chatteau Marmutt !!! My life is busy, crazy....and the last thing I want is to worry about my dogs during the day.
At chatteau, I know that they are going to have a great time and be cared for by the staff. Over the past 7 years I have gotten to know Michelle the owner, her staff, all the other dogs, and the dog owners.....It is a great experience....and by far, the best dog day care service in LA !!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE

I stopped by the other day to get some information for myself and a neighbor about the services and Roderick assisted me with some purchases and inforamtion. He was not only friendly but very knowledgeable about dogs. Most times when I ask questions about dogs I cannot get any useful information. I would defintely reccomend this place again.

Needs improvement

Loved that this doggie day care separated the small dogs from the big dogs as some doggie day cares mix it up. The thing is the small dog area is actually an office so it's not a proper place for play and it gets pretty crowded. Michele is great (she usually does the drops offs if you can't pick up your dog after work) but the guy working there isn't very friendly and looks he'd rather be somewhere else. The small dogs either play together (if there's a ring leader) but mostly stand at the door waiting for someone to interact with them. I also think there is poor clean up because my dog normally came home smelling like urine and I have to give him a bath or get him groomed after each day care visit.

Absolutely the Best!!

My dog Bodhi is a super regular at the Chateau. Thank goodness for this place and their amazing staff! Bodhi is a total trouble maker at home if she's bored or not properly exercized. I drop her at the Chateau knowing she is going to be loved up all day by the staff who know every one of her quirky habits, and when I pick her up she is deliciously exhausted from playing hard with all her dog friends. She loves other dogs and new people and is so beautifully socialized because of her great experiences at the Chateau. I feel that she is a healthier, happier dog for going there. Also, her bed (which she drags with her all over the house) is great looking and unique. I couldn't find one she would sleep in that wasn't tacky for the longest time. The cool items they stock in the store I've never seen in other shops. Bodhi has loved every toy I've gotten her there. I feel like they dog-test everything before they'll sell it. Chateau Marmutt is the greatest!!

Who wouldn't want to spend all day playing with lots of your great pals, have every need tended to, get pampered, treated to on-site spa services, given treats and lots hugs and love and affection from a darling and dedicated staff? This place is amazing. When will somebody open a place like this for 2-legged creatures?

The Chateau, as we who entrust our precious dogs to their care, call it, is simply the best doggy daycare in Los Angeles. They are kind and sweet to the dogs, have great retail (I love their collars, which you cannot get anywhere else), and have superb grooming services. This is an all-in-one provider and has been a lifesaver to me throughout the years.
