Finally, a great Greek restaurant
Posted by ShawnE on 04/30/2009
This restaurant is officially my new favorite in greek food. I was taken here for my birthday, hoping it was going to be good after many disappointing greek meals in Dallas. I was definitely not disappointed! The gyro and tzatziki that I had with the green beans on the side was unbelievable. The dolmas we wonderful as well. The only thing that I can see as being a little bit of a con would be what we could have perceived as being blown off by the waitress. Honestly, I am still not sure. She did bring out a nice little piece of complimentary baklava because it was my birthday, and she really did seem to warm up more towards the end of our meal. I am definitely a fan, and will definitely be coming back for more.

Great Food and Wonderful staff - BYOB
Posted by TXSailor on 01/11/2009
I love Opa. The food is VERY good and for a reaasonable price. The owners and staff are as friendly as you could imagine. Outstanding value and a great place for a date or dinner with your significant other. Plus it is BYOB so you save on the liquor bill.
All I can say is go try Opa and you will surely come back!

Best calamari anywhere!
Posted by doctordimentia on 08/01/2008
Wonderful restaurant. The calamari is the most tender I have ever had. I have been to Opa Grill several times and the food and service was consistently very good. Great place to take clients for unpretentious but well executed dishes. Try a slice of Carolyn's homemade pie for dessert. Personally I prefer the BYOB restaurant, I've grown tired of overpriced wines and spirits.

Mediterranean Goody!
Posted by Judy B. on 08/02/2005
This restaurant is located near LBJ Freeway off Preston Road in the shopping center, on the s.w.side. The menu is quite extensive, the food is delicious. We started with an appetizer called Saganaki which consisted of Greek Romano cheese that had been deep fried, then flamed at the table. Quite a way to start the meal! Everything on the menu is very good, we even liked the home made pie, asked for extra so we could take it home! This is a casual place you can go and really relax, be pampered by the staff, and have a great meal!
