    Customer Satisfaction NOT Their Priority

    I have been a patron of this store for about 2 years, frequenting it 2-3 times a month to purchase pet food etc. (average spending about 100.00/mth). I have never had to return anything until recently. I bought a can of kitten formula that none of the cats would eat. Went back two days later to return it with receipt and was subjected to a tirade from the owner! He called me a snot and the four letter "B" word right in the middle of the store with little kids watching! EXTREMLY unprofessional, not to mention just plain bad business. Instead of resorting to name calling, he could have just said, "I'm sorry, it is not our policy to take returns even with a

    Employees Make A Difference

    I started purchasing my pet's food here because it was a convenient location from where I used to get it. However, the employees don't seem to care about customers. When I was in today, there were 3-4 sales girls, all who were hanging around the counter when I walked in. Then the phone rang a few times and one girl acted like it was a bother for her to go look in an aisle for whatever the caller was asking for. As she walked down the aisle she made the comment that "people are just stupid", and "what a pain", as well as various other comments. They don't even say "thank you" for purchasing anything there. And, to top it off their prices are much more expensive than the place I used to shop in Urbandale, a feed store. I asked someone if I could purchase my dog's food by the case and she told me it would be the same price as it was on the shelf, which was .50 cents more than where I had purchased it previously. I could get savings there for at least $12.00 per case. So I guess I'll be going back to the feed store ! I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone unless you're adopting a pet from the ARL which has a set up in the back of the store.

    Iowa Pet Foods and Seascapes has literally everything you could imagine for your pet of any species. They have an extensive aquatic selection, far better than you will find most places. They also have supplies for anything with fur or feathers. One of my favorite things is that this store is the site for the ARL West, and they have very adorable adopt ables available for you to take home with you.
