Best Thai Food I have found in Houston
Posted by Houstongrl24 on 04/14/2008
I ordered lunch to go at the Westheimer location. While I was waiting, I got to the the beautifully painted walls and wonderful atmostphere inside. The waitstaff seemed pleasent enough, and my food came out in about 15 mins-not terrible. I had the Phad Thai, and it was delicious. Light and flavorful, not spicy at all. Garnished with a little extra peanut sauce and it was fantastic. I'm having to sit on my hands to not go eat there again tonight!

Moms Day Out....(disaster)
Posted by dior2007 on 11/25/2007
Moms Bonding time ...turned disaster...
We've been standing and waiting for about 3minutes..nobody wanted to greet us .... we called their attention twice...thats the time the crew turned her head... she told us to wait for 2 minutes... but when they noticed that we have a 2yrs old and a baby.... the other lady told us to wait for about 15minutes.... we pointed a vacant spot near the window... and they still insisted that we'll wait for 10 minutes... THE TABLE IS VACANT.... IT CAN ACCOMMODATE US .... but they refuse to give the spot to us.... What kind of service is that.... If you planto go there with your kids... don't bother or attempt ....THEY DONT LIKE KIDS.

Best Thai Restaurant in Houston
Posted by jewelryjunkie on 04/25/2007
I love the crispy spring rolls and Angel Lady.
My Husband loves Tiger Cry
and my brother loves the beef pad thai
I tend to always order the same things when I eat out but with the variety of choices here I
have been willing to try new things (as long as it's not too spicy).
So I am writing yet another review to promote a family owned business that provides great food
in a great atmosphere.

Nope, never again . . . "non ethnic" Thai food
Posted by smartbrother on 01/08/2007
The ambience was nice, if not a bit kitschy. We walked in expecting a good experience, but no one greeted us, so after a few minutes we sat ourselves. After 10 minutes of sitting, someone finally took our order. The spring rolls were filled with nothing but cabbage, which was dissapointing. We ordered the ginger fried rice w/chicken and the coconut curry. The food was hot, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. Presentation was great, but I have never tasted (or not tasted) food so bland. This restaurant definitely does not cater to people who like good service or food with authentic flavoring.

Good food, great price
Posted by t_girl_dining on 03/13/2006
I've dined for lunch and for dinner. Lunch they have an excellent bargain - for the price it's a tasty meal that fills you up. I love the spring rolls (rice paper rolls that are not fried) appetizer! I've had the generously proportioned beef salad that was full of zesty flavor. They serve an excellent Thai ice tea. Every time I visit Houston, I try to have one meal here.

Terrible Service
Posted by annamisha on 03/06/2006
I mean, what service? Nit Noi has really good food, and we were SO looking forward to having a good dinner. We were there for an hour and only once did the waitress check on us, and then disappeared after that. It was supposed to be a special night for my family but was ruined by awful service. We eventually got up and left.

My mouth waters whenever I think of this place
Posted by divabomb on 06/10/2005
Always good, never disappointing. Be sure to order the Toam-Yum-Goong soup; its my favorite, and I always order it without fail (feeds 4+ people). Other faves are their curry dishes and the beef satay with the peanut sauce. YUMMMMM. I had never been a fan of Thai food until I dined at Nit Noi. Now I am hooked.

Pretty Good
Posted by ysaguirrec on 04/05/2005
I've heard mixed reviews on this place so I wanted to try it for myself. I thought it was pretty decent. We ordered the spring rolls (fried and soft) and they were delicious! Especially the fried. They are huge! I could have eaten them for my dinner alone. After the apps. we ordered a chicken dish which was also pretty good. I would definitely go there again.

Non-authentic Thai
Posted by jnlovegoodfood on 09/12/2004
I was on business trip and this restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff. I was very very disappointed at the food quality. If you are looking for true authentic Thai dishes, this is not the place. The only thing I liked was their fried spring roll.

Worst Thai Food Ever
Posted by jetstream on 08/23/2004
Wow, I don't know where to begin. They are expensive, have very low service, and the food is more bland than dirt. I have experienced Thai resteraunts around the U.S. and this has to be the worst. It took 20 minutes to be waited on (they weren't busy) and then when we did get the food it tasted like they had cooked a frozen TV Dinner. I have to say this was my worst experience with Thai food ever. Avoid this place like the Plague!
