Very Good

Helpful Staff Makes This a Fabulous Experience

The staff at Horizon Books makes the experience as far as I'm concerned. Given the fact that the store features three floors of books, it's always nice to have some help finding items. Their staff is always right there to help out and to make sure you find what you're looking for. They have a fabulous little coffee bar that offers all sorts of yummy hot drinks as well as things like Italian sodas and delicious baked goods. In the summertime, they have chairs/tables out front so you can enjoy a cup of coffee, browse through your book and people-watch on Front Street.

You just don't find them like this anymore!

Remember the movie 'You've Got Mail'? Remember the bookstore that Meg Ryan owned before it go shutdown the big chaing store run by Tom Hanks? Well, the Meg Ryan store is exactly the kind of store Horizon Books is. Small and cozy, there are even creeks in the carpeted wooden floor that adds a touch of familiarity even if it's your first time there. The staff is very helpful and knowledbeable. They workers at the in-store coffee shop are just as friendly, Won't find a large bargin bin like at Barnes & Noble or Borders, but it's still fun to visit.
