Not impressed. Front desk left little to be desired. Not overly friendly or helpful. Room, boutiquey but older. Hallways actually smell musty. Gross. Will try the Sofitel next. Its new and yhe same price point. Yvonne Baird

    Disappointing

My husband and I dined at Boathouse Row based on a friend?s suggestion for a low-key bite to eat on a random weeknight. The place was desolate, and should have been our first clue. The only people dining and at the bar were out of towners, clue number two. The menu offers bar food and a few tradition dishes such as roasted chicken, burgers, etc. We ordered the wings and they were average. We ordered the fries bc they came with three dipping sauces. The sauces delivered to us were tartar, ketchup and vinegar!!!! The mussels were lacking in flavor and broth, very bland. All in all, not one of Philly?s best. Skip the Boathouse and spend your money at one of the many other wonderful Pubs that the city has to offer.

Boathouse Row Bar lost its oars

Since new management the bar has gone from great to horrible and it will only get worse. The servers are great people but management has seemed to get the best of them. Its ok though, if you want to try a place with good food and a great chef try Blue Bell Country Club. Youll find a good percentage of the old Rittenhouse staff there which used to make the Rittenhouse shine. Now, Blue Bell stands tall.
