I have been continually impressed by the work and knowledge of the mechanics at Advantage Auto. I was told by two other shops that I needed a new AC compressor. Ted told me that it was likely just the belt, and he was willing to gamble on it to save me money (the belt would have shredded if he was wrong). This got my air conditioning going for around $40 instead of over $500. Their mechanics are very observant, and can spot existing problems before they become safety hazards. If there is something wrong or unusual with your car, they will let you know. They will explain to you the reasons why they are fixing something, and will show you what's wrong with the car. They are also great with their customers, and will consider your financial situation. If something really doesn't need to be fixed for another 3,000 miles, they won't push it on you. They will only stress the need for immediate repairs of things that pose safety hazards or a hazard to the longevity of your vehicle. The mechanics have also gone above and beyond what they're supposed to do. One mechanic noticed that my car jack was rusty, and put it in a vice and added lubricant so that it would work smoothly if I ever get stuck out on the road with a flat. These people are professional, friendly, and look out for their customers.
