Waste Management

Waste Management of Los Angeles provides collection, recycling and disposal services to municipal, commercial, industrial and residential customers throughout Los Angeles and the Greater Los Angeles Area. We also have gas-to-energy plants which generate 21.5 megawatts of electricity per hour, enough to power more than 22,000 homes. We operate California's largest fleet of 100 percent natural gas fueled collection trucks and 13 natural gas fueling stations. In addition, Waste Management of Los Angeles is the largest recycler in the state, providing recycling services for any type of fiber, aluminum, tin, plastic and glass. Not only do we provide recycling for such things as fluorescent lamps and batteries, we also provide collection and drop-off sites for electronic recycling of computers, monitors, and other electronic waste.
We support a number of local community organizations throughout Los Angeles with employee volunteerism and event participation.
