Hairdresser did opposite of what I asked for
Posted by AnnieLA on 07/01/2009
I had a haircut with Pedro. I told him I had just had a haircut, but it was longer on the top than the sides. I asked him to take a little off the top to make it even with the sides. I explained that I have a long face, so longer on the top just exaggerates that. I also asked that he put texture in it all the way around.
I had about 3 inches of hair and I told Pedro that I was going to do a video doing in Latin dancing in 2 weeks. Pedro repeated what I asked for, so he clearly understood. He then took off about 1 1/2 inches off the top and about 2 inches on the sides and back! I have a video in 2 weeks and I have practically no hair! What little I have is still longer on the top! Also, he apparently does not have texturizing scissors, so he uses a razor, which causes all kinds of split ends and frizz.
Do not waste your money there. You'll come out having paid for getting depressed.

What's the Price?
Posted by sypder on 06/04/2009
I went in and asked how much a haircut was, after the girl fumbled to get the price out, she eventually said $35. I confirmed the price with her and agreed to the haircut. When I went to pay another girl said $45, and when I said that the other person said $35, she countered with $40. I told her that the price really was $35, but she said that was impossible. I was going to leave a 20% tip bringing the total to $42, so why would she argue when she was wrong to begin with? Rather than paying $35 + $7, I just paid $40 + $2. I am not going back because of the dishonesty of this place.

Hair Salon in Santa Monica. Who Else Wants Jaw Dropping Hair?
Posted by jenistheone on 01/01/2009
Next Salon hair styling put a little more spice in my marriage. My husband's jaw dropped and he looked at me in stunned silence when he returned from a business trip.
My old hair was short, brown and had a few strands of gray.
My new hair is long and blonde (hair extensions are great).
Let's just say he was very happy to see me.
Of course, it didn't hurt that I also got a facial, nails and waxing.
You have my permission to pamper yourself at Next Salon if you live in Santa Monica or the greater Los Angeles area.
I'll even give you the number. Next Salon, 310-392-6645, 2400 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405.

My bridesmaid service was wonderfully done at Next Salon in Santa Monica, CA.
Our wedding party was all expertly attended to by the hair stylists, estheticians and make-up artists at Next Salon. We also got our nails done. All we had to do was sit back and allow ourselves to be pampered.
The bride looked gorgeous. We were all so jealous.
Oh, and the wedding was a smashing success!
We got many compliments about how beautiful we looked.
I?m glad the bride choose this salon. I'm going back on my own to Next Salon.
