GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Central Library currently occupies 1 million items and materials in the 9,906 book shelves available for books. To handle such a large collection of books and to adjust to the technology driven age, the Central Library operates and maintains a well constructed technology-based system which is conveniently located and operated out of the public eye. Along with this book-handling system and wireless internet access, the building's digital and technology driven ideas have expanded the amount of available computers for public use from 75 to more than 400.

Parking is available, with a 143-stall underground parking garage with entrance on Spring St. Outdoor bike racks are available at the 4th Ave. and 5th Ave. entrance and at the employee entrance on Spring St.
