Country Manner Motel

I stayed at this motel on Sept. 18 and 19. After I left and arrived home, I discovered that I had forgotten my cell phone charger. When I called, they advised me that they would return it for a $10 handling fee plus shipping/cod. The shipping/cod I can understand, but the handling fee for a cell phone charger amazed me.



I understand they have to put themselves out a little to do this for me, but we honored our reservation of 2 nights inspite of heavy downpours. We could have cancelled and only lost one day and they would have lost the other day.



The were unwilling to help in any way! I can say, they were professional, but that was it. From a place that touts peaceful atmosphere, I didn't experience that. All I asked was a little understanding.



I will NOT return there the next time I stay at Maggie Valley. I can understand why their business is for sale now.
