Simple but delicious mediterranean fares

This small and quiet restaurant is what some might describe as 'hole in the wall', and is kitty corner from Melrose. It is a Moroccan-Jewish grilled-fish place. They have about five different kinds of grilled fish available (with skins on!). For appetizers, I recommend their hummus which is rich and creamy, and the 'eggplant' which is made with tomatoes, herbs and red in color. Very flavorful and tangy. Your server would probably be the owner's wife. She is friendly, but unfortunately doesn't come around to your table much as she's also busy in the kitchen. However, the last time I was there she gave us a free side of hummus so that made up for the lack of service.
