    Closed since getting hit with a $40,000 fine for over capacity at the adjoining bar, Thai Joe's, in 2003.

    Rest in peace. This was an awesome spot for beer and live music. Located in a nice area. Parking could have been better, but was never to the point youd have to walk more than a couple blocks.

    I can truly say that 2 offerings at this restaurant are beyond heaven--the best I've ever had anywhere. which 2? the thai iced tea for one and the best entree i've ever had is HANDS DOWN the "haw mok gai" with chicken, sprouts, lemongras, red chili.......it's fabulous and the owners are so nice and i used to feel like family going there and/or getting take out. classic, authentic, place and their open poetry slams were SUCH fun. food orgasmic, ambiance fabulous, what's not to LOVE? i'd fly to Milwaukee solely for Bangkok Orchid.

    I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because the food wasn't impressive, service wasn't good, and ambiance mmm what ambiance? I'd say skip it.
