I had been referred to the Bel Air office by my Dr. since I live in Bel Air. My insurance however will not cover that office therefore I scheduled an appt. at the Baltimore/Greenspring Ave. office. So I will show my review on that location after my appt. Thanks

different office, lower quality of care

After several years of first rate care at the Baltimore office, I was transferred to the newest office, located in Bel Air,MD, at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. The office was obviously new, the staff was not as efficient as the Baltimore staff had been. Biggest disappointment, though, is the doctor at the Bel Air office, a young, arrogant professional who comes off as "I'm the doctor, therefore I am right". The last thing that a chronic pain patient needs is to be stuck with an egotistical doctor who seems to only be interested in administering spinal anesthesia. During my very first visit, within just 2 moments of entering the room, the doctor suggested that "we try spinal anesthesia"; after I declined that option(for a number of reasons), the doctor concluded the visit and LEFT the room in less than 5 minutes. Since that time, my visits have never lasted more than 5 minutes, the doctor comes off as uninterested, in a hurry and utterly lacking compassion. I see no signs at all that this doctor is interested in a "multimodal" approach to ease the suffering of chronic pain, unless a patient will conform to his request that you submit to spinal anesthesia.
