I have been to a couple of dermatologist since I was 16 and this is my favorite. Its a small office but everyone seems very professional.
Mr Rubinstein quickly understood that I wanted to get on accutane and put me on it, ive been on the course for 3 months and am very happy with my results.
Mr. Eric Lovato has been helping me and he's very nice, friendly and professional. He helps me feel comfortable and i trust him.
The only drawbacks is the price..but almost every dermatology office charges a lot for each visit.
I definitely recommend this office.

i went to dr. rubinstein for a little botox :) i didn't want much, i'm pretty young, but i felt like i just wanted a little boost. i have some friends that have gone to doctors that have gone WAY overboard and their faces definitely have the frozen effect.
dr. rubinstein listened to what i wanted and gave me his input, and the results are fabulous. all my friends want to go to my amazing doctor now!

I recently had a baby and was very self-conscious about the after-effects of pregnancy on my skin. Out of pure vanity, I made an appt with Dr. Rubinstein, I heard that he was some kind of a skin "Guru", and his initial visit fee was very reasonable, especially for how highly he is regarded.
When I came in the first time, I walked into the brightest, friendliest office. First of all, it was clean and exquisitely decorated. Secondly, it was not your typical boring "Dr.'s office" kind of an atmosphere. The front area had very hip, very designer furniture, and intimate, matte glass doors. Also, everyone was beautifully dressed, and was wonderfully pleasant. The most tranquil music playing in the background. It felt like coming to a spa.
I had very little paperwork to fill out. I was not bombarded with a bunch of useless forms like they do in some offices to distract you from the fact that the Dr. is running hours behind schedule. I have had 3 visits to Dr. Rubinstein's office so far, and I have never been made to wait.
Dr. Rubinstein gave me a very thorough initial examination, answered all of my questions regarding my postpartum healing, and even recommended that I allow him to remove a mole that he thought looked "iffy" to him. He did a great job on the incision. I healed up very well. Its only been 8 days since he performed the procedure and it already looks like barely a scrape.
I also got laser hair removal there, just because I liked that place so much. I really like the nurse who performs the treatment. She does her best to make sure the patient is comfortable and pain free. Very thorough, too. I had wonderful results. I've had it done before at a different place with no result, so I was very impressed with how well it worked at Dr. Rubinstein's.
So, here is my opinion: I was Blown Away by how well the service is at Dr. Rubinstein's. He is a wonderful, knowledgeable Dr. and I completely trust him and his staff.

If you need to see a dermatologist, this is the doctor to see!
I live in Hollywood, but because of his rave reviews, I went to Studio City to see him. I made my appt on Friday of the week prior and agreed to see his PA, Eric in order to be seen the following Thursday. Eric was so knowledgable and nice. In fact the entire staff was so friendly, I was very impressed.
Eric spent a good amount of time on me and was not even coming in for something detrimental. At the end of my appt Dr. Rubinstein came in to go over things with me again, even though my appt wasn't even with him. Then for my followup, they made the appt with him, not Eric because I had not seen him on my first visit.
I have been to the dermatologist before, but never had the care and results that I received from Dr. Rubinstein's office.
And they even take insurance...you can definitely feel taken care of at this office-- they are the best!!

A very professional place - Cosmelan

I had a Cosmelan treatment about two months ago and I want to let everyone know that if you have suffered with melasma and uneven pigmentation as long as I have, this is the treatment to consider. I can't be happier. The doctor was very knowledgable and Eric, the PA who did my skin analysis and actually performed the procedure was AWSOME! He is so patient, I felt comfortable asking him all the questions and never for a second felt rushed. My results are well above my expectations since I tried everything else in the world and nothing ever worked this well this quickly. My skin texture is also smoother and I am getting compliments on my skin (which I never did before). I am going back to Dr. Rubinstein for some filllers, probably Perlane, now that my skin looks so great. He did it for my friend and it looks fantastic. This is a good facility to go to if you are looking for good care by knoweldgeable people - all real professionals and really top quality care. Trust is everything, and you can get it here.

GREAT GREAT GREAT!!! They are all about patient care in this office! As a patient, I look forward to visiting the office, getting the scoop on the latest advancements in the industry, all while knowing they only have my best interest in mind. Everyone from the doctor, the front desk, to the back office and everyone in between are an absolute delight to deal with!!! What a refreshing breath of air

I went in for botox treatment of my forehead wrinkles. I had to repeat the same story to about 4 different people before the doctor did the treatment. The doctr looked bored because I was just interested in one area of botox. It looked ok, but it didn't last as long as when I had it done in New York.
I'm not that impressed here.

Mother of the bride - Beautiful

I had my daughter's wedding last weekend and I owe it to Dr. Rubinstein and Terri for making me look UNBELIEVABLE. It took several trips and a well planned rejuvenation plan, but it was all worth it. I also had IPL on my hands and chest which really cleared up my skin. I was thrilled to get so many compliments, and the best thing is that I looked better without looking fake or "done". I just want to sincerely thank everyone and write this review for others to know that it may take some time, and some money, but the results are worth it.

I went in to see Dr. Rubinstein for a skin check. A quick 60 second glance was performed.Luckily everything was ok with a mole that I was worried about.
The next thing I know he starts saying how bad my skin looked and recommended a ton of creams and an IPL treatment. Well, I bought a couple hundred dollars of some creams and had an IPL treatment. I got several scabs on my face and got a immediate breakout from them. So now several hundred dollars later, I only look worse.
Go anywhere else; ZERO STARS
