    Worst Hotel for A Lot of Money & Expedia Called It Luxury

    I looked for a hotel for three months that our family could visit while in San Antonio, Texas for June, 2008, to go to Fiesta Texas, the Alamo and SeaWorld. So I finally ended up using Expedia.Com to book Emily Morgan Hotel. We paid upfront using our credit card and we requested a queen size room with two beds that was suitable for five people (2 adults and 3 kids). When we arrived at the hotel, we had to park on the side of building to see if we were indeed at the right place, we asked where could we park and they said in the back of the building because THE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE DESIGNATED PARKING!!!!!!!! We quickly found this was not a lie because at night, clubs take over the parking lot at night and make you pay $5 to $10 a night or each time you leave and return. We went to visit our room and unpack, THE BATHROOM WAS NICER THAN OUR ROOM and we had a suite. We placed the comforters on the floor to walk on with socks to keep from using them on the beds because they did not appear to be clean, even though we requested them to bring us a set that was recently washed, they all looked unclean, it seemed that they brought us back the same ones, they just went to the floor. The roll-a-way bed was in poor shape and I would expect to have found one like it in a Motel 8 or Motel 6, not a luxury hotel such as this. I really wished we could have stayed at any other place this month besides this hotel. We were across the street from the Alamo and about two blocks from the RIVERWALK which is merely a BAYOU with stinkly pissy smelling brown water, not a good attraction, they need to put some color dye and perfumed water freshner in it asap. The people in San Antonio are nice, but they still have a lot of work to do around this hotel to be a pleasing place. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!. We have been traveling from Houston to San Antonio for the last two months trying to visit all of the attractions that they recommend on the tourism guide and I will be letting you know about two more hotels that we stayed in and give our families view of them, but this was the most recommended and for $149.00 a night, it was one of the worst, next to this other hotel I will give my review of, it looked like a converted apartment complex, but we didn't have a choice because other hotels nearby Seaworld was booked, we were trying to get back to Seaworld to complete our visit because the employees or housekeepers AT THE EMILY MORGAN HOTEL STOLE OUR CAMERA WITH OUR PICTURES FROM SEAWORLD.

    IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, FROM DIRTY SHEETS TO PERFUME SMELLING PILLOWS TO TICKS, YEAH TICKS IN THE RESTROOMS. CAN YOU BELIEVE THERE WERE TICKS IN THE RESTROOMS. IT WAS TICK FEST AT THE EMILY MORGAN. IT WAS SO BAD THAT WE HAD TO MOVE TO THERE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE. AND MORE TICKS, YEP MORE TICKS. EVEN IN THEIR BEST ROOM AVALIALBE. WOW. WHAT A BAD HOTEL, WHATEVER, MORE LIKE A TICK INFESTED ANIMAL SHELTER. SERIOUSLY, DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT DO NO STAY AT THE EMILY MORGAN. OH YEAH THEIR ROOM SERVICE WAS GREAT IF YOU LIKE MOLD ON YOUR FRIUT. OK, IM DONE. IT WAS SO BAD I HAD TO CHECK MY ENTIRE FAMILY'S CLOTHES FOR TICKS. I HOPE WE DID NOT BRING ANY HOME WITH US......
