I AM SO VERY SAD THAT I BORROWED THE $$$ from these band of CRIMINALS- I was going through a bad divorce and my daughter became very ill, being partially insured and needing a place to stay.. I had to borrow the $$$$, Yes, I tried to contact family and they could not or would not help me: NOW I an stuck for 4-years paying this high azz intrest:
Not, to mention I was laid off--hiding from the repo-man to keep my car, we slept in the car for a month: Jerrica got so sick, she spent 9-days in the hospital and died the saturday b4 mothers day; I sent her death certf--to see if I could get this Loan from hell waived or at least intrest lowered: NO response-yet they blow up my phone with auto messages for the payment: >>>What ever you need do not go to cash-loan places like this: this is for sure the worst mess I have ever gotten into. I am so ashamed, hurt and discusted;

I just called them and they told me that they do not give loans to NY residents, so the question is WHY ARE THEY LISTED IN THE YELLOWPAGES UNDER NY???????

Yes, I saw the Gary Coleman commercials. I called and was told up front the crap interest rate. Why, because they are loaning money to a VERY high credit risk. What can they do to you if you don't pay? Ding your credit? It's not a second mortgage so you can't lose your house. They told me that up front that this loan was for someone needing quick funds now, but usually has the money and could pay it back quickly. This loan is meant to be a temporary fix, not a long term thing. For example, you expext a tax refund, a settlement check or some type of monies in a month or two, but you need to make a mortgage payment now, that's what this loan is for. You borrow it quick, make your mortgage payment, and in a few months when your other money does come it, you pay this insanely high interest loan back. You probably lost $40-$100 because of the interest rate, but you made your mortage payment. This loan is a quick fix and you don't borrow it unless you know you can pay it back quickly. I had to use them twice when my back was against the wall. I borrowed the money, make my payments and when I had the funds to pay it back (in my case it was a tax refund) I paid it off. The pay off is quick and clean. Yes, it's a crap loan, but I wasn't pissed off at Cashcall for the terms of the loan, I was pissed at myself for being in the situation I was in to have to use them.

Obviously, you've never been short on money or been in an accident that left you on disability, been robbed, gotten deathly ill, etc. The circumstances that happen in one's life are all different and many. You cannot compare one to another. Also, WE ALL make mistakes in our lives, but we learn from them. When you need to feed your babies due to these circumstances, you'll do just about anything. It must be nice to live a charmed life, huh? So, why don't you mind your own business, pay YOUR bills, and do YOUR job.
By the way, I noticed in your review you entered a 5 star rating. Was that for CashCall or you?

I also saw the commericials, and thought I could use this to pay all my bills that I had when I was with my husband, I know "shoot me". I was separated from my husband did know what to do. I borrowed 10.000.00 from 04-95, paid every month on time..343.00. you never get a statement ever, when I called 09-2007 to pay of the total amount due, what a big surprise I got, to pay of the loan off I had to pay 10235.00. All the three years I paid went toward nothing, but those dirty lying souless crooks. They, the owner of this business will eventualy get there own....

I was just about to apply for this loan and thank God I did research it first. I usually am so eager to help my small business and family that I just sign on the line for quick cash to tie us over. I sent off $4000.00 to Canada for 2 loans thru some fake companies-yes I did-stupid, I know. I thought they were real they have applications on line and call you back stating you have been approved for this high amount one was 5000 and the other 10000. I applied with 2 different companies. The kicker is you have to secure the loans with a deposit for your low credit score for an extra "insurance," to get the loan wired into your accounts. Needless to say the loans never showed up after I wired-Western Union the money. Such a big mistake. This was about 2 months ago and the end result is that I am out of 4 grand and my heart really hurt because I trusted these "representatives," who kept telling me the money will show up give it a couple of days-I GOT TAKEN. I did, well that is another story, but to fix the 4000.00 I was out of I was going to apply for the Cash Call loan and was approved for 5000.00-a relief I thought, but after the hoax-I decided to do my research this time and am so glad I did. Thanks for your advice and postings-we will be fine. I will count my losses as a blessing and an expensive lesson learned. Thanks for telling your stories, this saved me from more grief and debt.

NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND, HAVE EVER HEARD OF A COMPANY DOING WHAT THESE PEOPLE DO.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THE TACTICS THEY USE(I.E. LYING, STEALING FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, OVER CHARGING, HARRASSMENT, THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. THE BAD PART IS THAT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU GIVES THIS COMPANY A GREAT RATING. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS COMPANY IS ALLOWED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CHARGING 95% RETURN ON A LOAN FOR 1500.00.
I RATHER BORROW MONEY FROM THE MOB, THAN DEAL WITH THESE LYING RATS. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND FIND ANOTHER WAY TO GET THE MONEY.

You probably saved me from a worst financial hell than I am already in. I used to see the comercials on TV all the time, now when I thought I needed them I couldn't find the number to save my life. Now I know why. There is a reason for everything, I do believe, and it was just by chance that I was lead to this website. If not I was very close to making the same mistake that you and many others have made. God is good!!!!!! Again thank you.

I was in the process of trying to get a loan through Cashcall and was informed they didn't do business in Iowa. I found that very strange because they advertise service here. When I spoke with them, they said they are not licensed to provide loans in Iowa and will be able to in about 4 months. They USED to cover this area. I thought this very strange and I tried to explain to "Eric" about the advertisement. He eventually hung up on me. I did call back and spoke to someone else. It was during this call I started reading the ratings posted with Yellowpages. I think this company needs to get it together; advertise properly, and treat their customers with respect. Collections are one thing - harrassment is another!!!

I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone in the world. I would have rather been broke and borrowed money from friends, family or my employer - which I had to do to get rid of these people. So I thought. Borrowed money found out the interest rate was 92% on a small amount. They overdrew my checking account, I put stop pays on them with my bank and they found a way around that to get more money out. So my account had to be closed. They harrassed me at work to the point that I lost the job. They break every law that is out there for collections but never get into trouble for it. I reported them to the BBB, FTC and Attorney General but got no where because they LIE. I paid them off based on a settlement letter from them and now they are taking me to court for MORE MONEY. I dealt with the rudest of rude employees calling me every foul name in the book and nothing happened to them. So BEWARE and DO NOT USE THEM. Going thru them is like selling your life and soul to the DEVIL. Please heed everyones warning below. You will have to close out your checking account, go to court, deal with additional stress and harrassment that NO ONE should ever have to deal with. They are leeches that continue to suck your blood after being removed. I would be ashamed if I was an employee of them - they are MONEY HUNGRY THEIVES.
